I have gone here for NIA classes and have found that they are great. They have classes on everything from Yoga to meditiation and it's a very comfortable atmosphere. They also have some of the greatest massage therapists. Including new types of massage techniques. Alternate ideas for health are stressed here and it's a good place to get information also on other alternative places such as the health food stores. They are top class.

I have been having some eye problems and went to a local Optometrist and did not receive very good information. I then went to see a Dr. at L.O.P.C. and they really showed concern and care. They explained to me what was going on with my eye and got me scheduled the same day I called. At first I was scared but the staff was caring and they helped to ease my nerves.

I always love to use the services of a big research institution but the downside is that I feel like just a number and not an individual. But when I saw doctor Roy J Gerald he was able to make me feel very comfortable and assuaged my fears in a heartbeat. Michigan State University has a great staff and they were able to get to the bottom of my problem promptly!

Yahia Abutaher MD is a great researcher over at Michigan State University but he also is a fantastic clinical practitioner as well. I’m glad that I was able to utilize him and that he was able to take my relative on as a patient because apparently he is really hard to get in contact with. If you ever have the need, and I truly hope you do not, you should go here because he is brilliant!

The Michigan State University Sports Medicine Clinic in East Lansing is one of the best sports medicine clinics in the area. They have access to the best diagnostic and treatment options and work with each individual to find the best treatment options for their situation. I have personally dealt with them for a torn ACL in my knee and they were so knowledgeable about the various treatment and therapy options available and worked to help find a combination that would be best for my situation.

This is the only dentist office I've been to since I've lived in the greater Lansing area. Dr. Grein is a phenomenal dentist and has a great staff working for him. Even though I'm fortunate enough to only need to go every six months, I'm always made to feel like I was there just yesterday.
If you're looking for a new dentist or just want to try out a new one, George Grein comes highly recommended. Being conveniently located just north of Saginaw on Abbott in the Tomie Raines building, the office is easy to get to and even open late a couple days a week.

I was referred to LPA after a terrible experience I had with the MSU Counseling Center. At first, I wasn't sure whether this would be more of the same. I had never gone to a psychologist before, mostly out of fear and denial of my problems. However, Dr. David Brown at Lansing Psychological Associates helped alleviate any concerns when I first met him.
He cares about helping me and has an incredible "bed-side" demeanor. He was able to relate to me very well and help me deal with a lot of the problems I have been facing. When talking to my parents, he honored my request to keep the discussion focused on diagnostic/clinical issues only, not what I told him in confidence.
The staff is very friendly and easy to deal with, and they work well with insurance providers - taking care of most of the paperwork.
Overall, I would highly recommend LPA to anyone looking for help conquering the problems that prevent them from living a completely full life.
