As longtime members of The Michigan State Federal Credit Union we have been very pleased with all the services offered to us through them, including the opening of branches outside of the University. MSUFCU is a complete banking operation open to students and employees of MSU and their relatives. The staff have always been friendly and helpful, the prices have always been comparable to other institutions. This is a great place to bank.

After being accused of overdrafting my account and threatened with damage to my credit over a mistake that was Bank One's fault (they eventually apologized and fixed the error), it was time for a new place to put my money. Because I am an MSU student, I chose MSUFCU for the convienience and because of my parent's good experiences there. I have never regretted my decision. Very few hidden fees, good online banking, easy access to money and great banking options for students - If you live in East Lansing and qualify for membership, there is no reason not to join.

Good place to bank. The other banks in town are not as nice as this. The only problem is that it is not a national bank but really I can’t find a bank that is really national. They seem to have great customer service. There are several locations in mid Michigan, that makes this a convenient place to bank. I would recommend the convince of this bank.

The Michigan State University Federal Credit Union is an excellent credit union. Their services are unbeatable. They offer mortgages, vehicle loans, savings, personal loans, and investment opportunities such as money market accounts and 401K's all under one roof. Their customer service is excellent. They offer extended afternoon hours at their drive-thru on Saturdays and their online banking makes transfers and payments a breeze. This is an all-inclusive credit union that is one of the best.

I've never had an account at a more convenient banking instituion than MSU Federal Credit Union. They have convenient hours, convenient online banking and convenient access to free ATM machines in the area. Another category they excel in is loans. We have both a great car loan and second mortgage through MSUFCU. They work with you to find the best rate and don't keep you bogged down complicated paperwork. If you don't bank at MSUFCU, you bank at the wrong place.

After having accounts with BankOne and Flagstar banks, I decided to give MSUFCU a try upon moving to East Lansing. I can say without a doubt they are one of the most hassle-free banks I have dealt with. I only have a savings and checking account with them, but I have never had a problem accessing my funds or having them process the direct deposit from my employer. Their old checking accounts required a $600 minimum balance or else you would accrue monthly fines, however their new e-checking accounts have done away with these balances. ATMs are very easy to find around the Greater Lansing area. One nice bonus is that MSUFCU as joined with the Co-Op network, which provides 7-11 with most of their ATMs (at least around Michigan). Anytime you see a 7-11 with a Co-Op ATM, you can withdraw money without accruing any ATM feeds. That’s a very nice perk to my account with MSUFCU.

MSUFCU, as it is called, is a great Credit Union open to MSU Students, Staff, and others via business relationships and such. They have locations in Lansing, East Lansing, Okemos, and more. They also have ATM machines in every "QD" (Quality Dairy) in Lansing. Even though their televisions leave something to be desired, the credit unions are fantastic for a checking, savings, mortgage, or business account. I use them for all of my personal banking and business banking needs, and have run into little or no problems over the years. Their interest rates are reasonable also. Recommended.
