It is a fine dining establishment and a fully function inn set in a historic compound.This restored mansion and carriage house is located on Valentine Hill and overlooks formal gardens, the Oyster River, and the Old Mill Falls. The room was lavishly decorated with Georgian Mahogany furnishings, rich tapestries, antique artwork, polished wood floors warmed by oriental rugs, and overstuffed lounge chairs and sofas. if you are lucky you can even get jacuzzi rooms. A great place to stay in Durham.

This is hands down the best B and B we have ever stayed in and we frequent them a lot in our travels. The resturant is a must try! The food is amazing and the wine list is extensive. Our room was lovely and very romantic. Some of my husbands favorite attributes were the ceiling beams from the 1700's and the 4 poster flynet canopy bed. It was amazing. The sheets were 1100 thread count egyptian cotton and the floor waws original to the house (which was built in the 1600's. Definitely a treat!

This place is awesome with great views, It is near a small stream with small falls, with lots of trees.
The owner is warm and very friendly and very accomodating. Don't worry if you are late in checking in. The breakfasts are delicious -- but the muffins made with local blueberries were especially tasty. The room had a small refrigerator and a coffee maker. The bed was comfy, and the rooms were cute.

This place is right in the heart of University of New Hampshire. The rooms are really luxurious and comes with all that you need. The view from the rooms is just amazing. There is a discount if you are a UNH alumni. Acorn's restaurant is like one minute walking distance and is really very good. A nice place to stay if you are visiting UNH.

also you can enjoy the skiing hiking which are near by. all in all a great place to stay ...they also have pet friendly rooms and charge you 25 dollars more for that. rooms are really nice and comfy,

It was built in 1957 with the architectural style of new england saltbox. it is conviniently located close to downtown durham. The continental breakfast is really cool. Enjoy a peaceful gateway at this inn.

This is not a regular B & B inn but its a home with seven guest rooms. Some of them have private baths. It's has a gorgeous locations with oyster river frontage and Beard's creek nearby. its somewhat far from durham downtown but worth a try for its locations. the owner is friendly and warm. your stay will be really comfortable and also this place offers a very tasty and filling continental breakfast.

conviniently located in downtown durham this place is a good place for people to go and find some awesome deals and travel packages. during holidays they have special packages and travel deals which gets sold out pretty fast. so you always have to check this place out. the staff is friendly and will take care to all the details that you need. all in all a nice place to get some good travel deal.
