If you're looking for something a little bit more ethnic and flavorful, Pauly's is your place to go. The sandwiches (with various meats wrapped in a pita) are delicious, and though the menu isn't all that extensive, there are enough choices to keep almost everyone happy. The decor and ambiance could be a little better, but for a college town eatery you can't really expect all that much.

If you're looking for something a little bit more ethnic and flavorful, Pauly's is your place to go. The sandwiches (with various meats wrapped in a pita) are delicious, and though the menu isn't all that extensive, there are enough choices to keep almost everyone happy. The decor and ambiance could be a little better, but for a college town eatery you can't really expect all that much.

This small place situated in downtown Durham is known for its falafal. There are variety of falafals that you can order. Since I am a vegetarian I go for veggie falafal but i have heard good things about non veg falafals also. altogether a nice and cheap place with great tasting food. I would highly recomment you to go there and try it once. also if you like hot and spicy food ask for the hot sauce that he keeps in his refridgerator.
