MY HUSBAND AND I HESITATED ON WASHING THE TRUCK, IT WAS SO DIRTY, HE HAS TO DRIVE BACK A DIRT ROAD TO GET TO WORK. WE TOOK IT TO TRIANGLE CAR WASH. THEY WERE SO NICE TO US.THEY HAND SCRUBBED HIS TIRES WITH A BRUSH TO GET THE WHITE LETTERING CLEAN. THEY DID A LOT EXTRAS.SRAYED UNDER THE FRAME. IT WAS A VERY FRIENDLY AND COURTEOUS PLACE. WE DID NOT HAVE TO WAIT LONG AND THEY DID A MIGHTY FINE JOB. THANK-YOU FOR ALL THE EXTRAS AND A JOB WELL DONE! THEY ARE LOCATED AFTER YOU PASS THE MEADOW'S ON THE RIGHT HAND SIDE. YOU TURN RIGHT AT THE LIGHT.

When I have guests from out of town, my agenda for their visit always includes a trip to The Meadows for frozen custard and treats. The Meadows has a unique custard that is creamier and more buttery than anything I've tasted elsewhere. They always feature chocolate and vanilla as well as a flavor of the day (Butter Pecan and Chocolate Peanut Butter Cup are among the best)
In addition to a standard cone or cup, you can get a number of specialty treats including a Black Cow or an Orange Fluff. The Meadows is open year round and there is an indoor seating area, which is great for very hot or cold weather. There is also a mini-golf course, arcade, and batting cages to entertain during your visit. It's a great place to have a special treat!

Have only been there once, on a recommendation from a friend, but REALLY liked it! Our meals were very good, but what sticks in my memory are the nachos my husband & I got as an appetizer. The BEST!! There is chicken/creamy sauce on one side and sausage/marinara on the other side. Three-color nachos underneath, black olives/cheese over top....delicious! And enough to be a meal in itself. I will definitely order them again, and I think this will become one of our regular dining spots. Looking forward to working my way through the menu.

I've recently started using the Duncansville Pharmacy and have been extremely pleased with the service I've received there. Once I even needed a prescription filled after hours so I contacted their after hours number and they were willing to come in at night and fill the prescription for me. The staff is always friendly and helpful and the pharmacist has always been knowledgeable and friendly. They also have a selection of really nice gift items and inexpensive candy that my kids enjoy.

If you need to get a prescription filled or are looking for a natural remedy, Duncansville Pharmacy is a great place to shop. The store has old-fashioned charm which is enhanced by a friendly, helpful staff. While you are waiting to get your prescription filled, you can browse the great selection of cards and in the store. They also have a penny candy counter that kids and adults alike can enjoy. They specialize in natural health products and have a great selection of Burts Bees, a favorite company of mine. They also feature convenient Sunday evening hours, which is very helpful when most other pharmacies are closed.

For only ten dollars, you will get a fantastic buffet. Each night is a different theme, so make sure to go on a night with food you enjoy. If you go to Prime Sirloin, Don't go on a Friday or Saturday night, unless you want a 15 minute wait, and come hungry!

I've been going to Gatehouse Games for the past 12 years, since it was in its original location in nearby altoona (very small store at that time). The store has grown over the years as the collective group of gamers grew rapidly. Within the first few years the store moved to the Hollidaysburg plaza in Duncansville, and has been their ever since.
Ever since I've started going to the store, I've had nothing but good experiences with the store and the owner, Tim. Tim has been more than willing to help me learn a game, teach me to paint and do model conversions, make gaming tables, or just do a good bit of leg work to find that hard to find item I'm looking for. He carries a huge variety of games, and is pretty knowledgable about most of them (including D&D/AD&D, Games Workshop Games, Magic, and many CCG's).
The store is awesome, as i believe there is over 2000 sq. feet of store. He has over 8 tabletop wargame tables (full terrain and looking awesome), and many many tables for cardgames and boardgame players. Not only that, but he has novels that are about the games he carries too (like D&D novels and Warhammer Novels). This place is a gamer's paradise.
When you come to Gatehouse games, you don't just buy something (unless thats all you're looking for). You leave with more than just product, you leave with an expanded knowledge about a game you're thinking about playing, and wisdom from a gaming veteran. And the best part is Tim isn't high and mighty about it, he speaks to you as an equal, and treats you with respect. New gamers and veterans are treated equally within his store.
Not only do you get all this, but you have central PA's largest gaming store carrying the most product you could want! If you're new to gaming, or even a veteran, stop on by. I'm sure you'll see Tim as he's there every day. It's definatley worth the travel for the experience. And sure sometimes things can be cheaper online (although gatehouse games sells things at manufacturer's suggested retail like stores are supposed to), but you should always buy from your local hobby store to support them. If you don't then someday you may not have a place like Gatehouse Games to play.

My husband and I bought carpet and laminate flooring from DeGol brothers in 2004 and had a very good experience with them.
The selection of carpet and flooring at their Wye Switches location is fantastic. In fact, you might even say that there are too many choices, since it took us about two weeks to decide on the carpet!
The salespeople were very helpful, and let us take home many samples.
We also had them install the carpet (we did the laminate flooring ourselves) and were very happy with the work...they arrived on time, and did a nice job.
So if you are looking for a great selection and good installation, check out DeGol's.

Triangle's Auto Spa is the best place to get your car washed and/or detailed. For the price of what you would pay at a coin operated car wash you could have done for you here and better. They also offer interior cleaning, interior shampooing, polishing and waxing, and express detailing.
