I went there twice to get gifts for my parent. The prices aren't typically average, but they have some nice stuffs that really worth buying. Good selection of things and style.
I even bought myself a pen that worth $16. I thought it was a waste of moneys at first, but the quality is really nice and comfortable. Finished with the pen only in 4 days cause love it so much and had too many essays to wrote. :)

I had my engagement party here, and it was wonderful! The owner and executive chef took care of everything and did all the things according to my taste. I just told him what I wanted, and he made it happen. The party was beautiful and very affordable. And the food was fantastic as well. I highly recommend this banquet hall!

Wildcats, Unlimited is generally acknowledged as the place to go if you want to show your Duluth spirit. They carry everything imaginable in purple and white, and they will customize almost anything. But they are terrible at customer service. If you order a customized item, it will be weeks before it is ready, and when it comes in, they may not call you. You have to assume the responsibility of tracking your order yourself, or you may not know when it is ready. They also have constantly changing business hours, or they may not be open when they advertise open hours.

From the hand painted front door and beyond, The Vintage Cottage has wonderful displays of shabby chic antiques and collectibles. I just want to buy everything I see when I go in there! There is lots of white washed furniture and decor items made from what some people might consider trash (ceiling tiles, old barbed wire, etc.) displayed throughout the store. One of my favorite antiques and home decor shops in Duluth.

This cute boutique has the best selection. I was able to find everything I needed and more. I will certainly shop there again. If you want to be the high fashion person in your family . . . stop by and let them help you with the lastest and greatest fashions.

Tuesday Morning is an interesting store. It actually closes every so often for a couple weeks (I've never really been able to figure out the schedule) and then reopens, freshly stocked with more discontinued items and close-outs. Sometimes the prices are quite high, but are supposely still a good deal ($1000 comforter is now $500!). And, every once in a while, you do stumble across some treasures. My mother-in-law recenty bought some beautiful pillows for $9, which retailed for almost $60.
