I am Vietnamese. I love eating at this restaurant because the food they serve is authentic and very tasty.
I especially like "Banh trang cuon thit nuong" which is made with grilled pork and served in a rice cake wrapper with spicy fish sauce. I often go there with my friends to eat lunch. It's a great value. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone who is looking for good Vietnamese cuisine at the right price.
Pros: Good service
Cons: Friday lunch can be very busy

The staff greet you at the door and your water glass is never empty, ( which is very important for us Westerners) the egg rolls are fantastic, the Pho served with lime, fresh bean sprouts, sliced jalape?o peppers, and Basil. The sauces were plentiful and the price very reasonable. Today will be my fourth trip back too this particular spot for lunch.
Pros: First rate...Clean as a whistle...
Cons: to far to walk too.

I am so lucky to work close to this wonderful restaurant. I've been to this restaurant at least 10 times. The interior is modern and ultra clean. The dishes are prepared with the freshest ingredients and I've never been disappointed. What the Pho offers incredible value as you can easily get a to-go box when your order arrive, whether it is Pho or another dish. You can easily have lunch and a full dinner later on. My favorites include the brisket Pho which comes with an incredible array fresh herbs and sauces on the side. I also love their fresh basil rolls with shrimp as an appetizer. I also love the Mao Xio Mem which offers fresh shrimp, chicken, pork, beef, and lovely fresh herbs like basil on wonderfully flavored noodles. Unlike many Chinese restaurants (which I also enjoy), the food at What the Pho is fresh, healthy, and non-oily. I've been to this restaurant with fellow Americanfriends, Korean friends, and Indian friends..and they all find dishes that they love...vegetarians and meat eaters alike.
Pros: Very Delicious and Healthy Food. Ultra Fresh Ingredients and Non-Oily, Funky modern interior
Cons: None

4) I specifically asked was the duck boneless and was told "yes"...I asked 3 different wait staff and was told the duck had no bones. LIES ! The duck was full of bones, chopped bones, had to be careful what I was eating.
My son ate the vegatarian meal and would give it a 3 or 4, but due to my dining experience, I give it a 1 cause I am the one writing this. I HATED this place and would NOT go back.
Try Saigon Cafe, much better.
