I was very disappointed when DeMarco's moved from Ridley Township to Drexel Hill since it wasn't as close to me. However, DeMarco's has my all time favorite pizza in the area and is worth the drive.
The atmosphere is casual and family friendly and the prices are reasonable. Boy, am I craving a slice of their pizza right now writing this. They also offer a full menu of Italian items among others. I couldn't vouch for the rest of the menu though, I just can't pass up their pizza whenever I'm there!

You can rent almost anything from this hardware store. They rent kid's party things like bouncers etc. They also rent popcorn machines and cotton candy machines. Think of Fishers when you are planning a big event like a block party, because they have all those big rental items that can make the event a success. The rental process is easy and their items are in good repair.

JD Migillicuddy's is one of the only bars of the area (Drexel Hill), and has the potential to be better with more crowds as they are bringing in better things. They've started getting some pretty good dance bands coming (like Saved by Zero), and the bar is very large with a dance floor, booths and tables to sit in the back, a large bar, a pool table, and sporting events on their televisions. I believe they do serve food earlier in the night as well.
On nights with dance bands and a packed floor (like St. Patrick's Day), it is a good place to party. They have been booking dance bands on holiday times (the friday before Halloween - wear a costume!), the day after Thankgiving, New Year's Eve, so those are definitely good nights to come out, check out a good band and have a couple drinks.

My wife had Vince work on her troublesome Chevy Cavalier and he did an excellent job, at a very reasonable price. He even drove her home and picked her up when the repair work was completed. What makes this shop especially convenient is that it's open and functioning on Saturdays, which makes it quite unusual for this area. We were also delighted that Vince called to follow-up, and even sent a thank you note!

We have been using Joe and Mike for almost 20 years and have recommended them to dozens of friends. We heard of them from other friends. Windows, siding, decks, what ever is needed, call and they will come out when promised and give free estimate. They come to your house, start working, and don't leave until the job is done. They even eat their lunch on-site so as not to waste time. Any one in Delaware county should call them first for a quote.

Mescellino's has THE best cheesesteaks in the area!! My brother-in-law that lives out of town has to go there EVERY time he's home visting for one of their cheesesteaks. Everyone that I have encountered that works there is fabulous too. They are all so friendly & helpful!! I always have my food on time (if not sooner) & it's always hot & delicious. They get FIVE STARS from me!!

The food, the ambiance, the price.....what more could you ask for? Right on the corner of Burmont and Township line Rd in Drexeltown (Havertown/Drexel Hill) you'll find a cozy quiet restaurant that serves delicious chinese food. It's great to take a date and large enough to accomodate a good sized family get-together(10-15 maybe more). Their pre-dinner tea is best without anything added. The Beef Skewers are amazing. My wife and I usually share a Szechuan Chicken platter. I recommend the Pu-Pu Platter for a first date. They serve it on this amazing platter with a flame burning to heat the food, it's really cool.It's BYOB so bring a bottle of Wine or suds, relaz while waiting for your food listening to the authentic Chinese background music. I guess I never realized how much this place really had to offer.
Pros: Great all-around place for good Chinese food!
Cons: Sometimes there is a wait. Not usually very long though.

The work was great. I got same day service. It only took about 2 hrs for them to come. The service man was professional and one time. He carried all of the supplies he needed to do the job and didn't take a long time to do it, but I have to say they charge you for every little thing by flat rate and it would have been cheaper had someone done it by the hour or even by the minute since I paid almost thee hundred dollars for a 20 min max job. I felt taken advantage of. I don't think i would recommend them or call them again.
