Out where I moved, it's hard to find good food at all, let alone good pizza. This place was a godsend. They have good pizza, I guess they get their rolls from the city cause they don't totally suck, and they deliver too. There's nothing more you could ask for out here because rich people like food that tastes like cardboard.

I love Fresh Grocer! Yes, they're older and smaller and a little quirky. But at least there is personality and a sense of community. The deli counter is an experience all its own. Its almost like the counter at the "corner store" where everyone talks to everyone...here, mostly about the great meats. Their fresh meats and deli beat anyone in the area for quality, freshness and price. If you are looking for an Acme or Giant experience, you won't get here. Fine w/me. I hate chains. But if you love real markets with real people and real food, you'll love Fresh Grocer.

Though the wait can sometimes be a little long (depending on what night), the food is great and they give you large portions! (be prepared to take a box home!) They work on a team system, so there is always a server around to help you out.
I have been there several times and only once experienced a rude waitress. Maybe she was just having a bad day!

I was very disappointed when DeMarco's moved from Ridley Township to Drexel Hill since it wasn't as close to me. However, DeMarco's has my all time favorite pizza in the area and is worth the drive.
The atmosphere is casual and family friendly and the prices are reasonable. Boy, am I craving a slice of their pizza right now writing this. They also offer a full menu of Italian items among others. I couldn't vouch for the rest of the menu though, I just can't pass up their pizza whenever I'm there!

Mescellino's has THE best cheesesteaks in the area!! My brother-in-law that lives out of town has to go there EVERY time he's home visting for one of their cheesesteaks. Everyone that I have encountered that works there is fabulous too. They are all so friendly & helpful!! I always have my food on time (if not sooner) & it's always hot & delicious. They get FIVE STARS from me!!

The food, the ambiance, the price.....what more could you ask for? Right on the corner of Burmont and Township line Rd in Drexeltown (Havertown/Drexel Hill) you'll find a cozy quiet restaurant that serves delicious chinese food. It's great to take a date and large enough to accomodate a good sized family get-together(10-15 maybe more). Their pre-dinner tea is best without anything added. The Beef Skewers are amazing. My wife and I usually share a Szechuan Chicken platter. I recommend the Pu-Pu Platter for a first date. They serve it on this amazing platter with a flame burning to heat the food, it's really cool.It's BYOB so bring a bottle of Wine or suds, relaz while waiting for your food listening to the authentic Chinese background music. I guess I never realized how much this place really had to offer.
Pros: Great all-around place for good Chinese food!
Cons: Sometimes there is a wait. Not usually very long though.

RM is so mistaken!! I am a frequent patron and love DeMarcos!! I know RM..left a 25cent tip after the beautiful bartender turned him down for a date. DeMarcos is not fairly new..they have been in business since 1987!! Best pizza and Italian in the County hands down...don't miss out it would be a shame.

Pat's Pizza just relocated but they are still serving up the same delicious food. Their Pizza with Italian Sausage is unique because it is not encased sausage. And it is a little spicy. They serve up consistently good food. Cheesesteaks are awesome too. If they were to toast the roll just a bit before putting on the meat, it's be 5 stars. Take-out beer is convienient too(expensive though).
Fair price, good food, nice place to sit and have a draft beer and a cheesesteak with a friend or the family.
Pros: Consistent good food!
Cons: Expensive beer I guess would be the only thing I can think of....
