pLANet Syrinx is the best computer (LAN) gaming center in Greater Lowell. Currently, Syrinx has 16 networked gaming computers with most of the best games available. There are also two XBoxes, a PlayStation 2, and some other console games. The newest addtions are Dance Dance Revolution for XBox and PlayStation2, and Madden 2006 for XBox.
Ages range from 10 to 30s, 40s and older. Tom, the owner, is a big time gamer, and often plays with the other gamers if they ask.
Once a month, Syrinx has a Lock-In Night, where players get 10 hours of gaming, free pizza and some prizes for one price. I've been to a few, and they're a blast.
Syrinx is the kind of place you can leave older kids for a few hours and know they're not getting into trouble. The Annual membership is a great deal!
There also snacks and drinks available to buy, and Romano's Pizza is just a couple doors down.

pLANet Syrinx is more than just a gaming center. All the computers are custom built, and since they use them constantly, you know they're quality. Tom, the owner, takes your specs and prices out the best system he can build.
Syrinx also repairs and tunes up computers, including virus and spyware removal. System turnaround is generally 48 hours, but sometimes longer. Tom prefers to get it fixed right the first time. Tuneups include cleaning the computer inside and out, which most other repair shops ignore.
Tom also does parts replacement and upgrades and reinstallations.
Rates are competitive if not cheaper, and he stands behind his work.

syrinx is a great place to spend a weekend night. it's an affordable place where you can do many activities. whether you're in the mood to play pool or spend an hour or two playing a wide assortment of video/computer games you're sure to have a great time.
syrinx also had ddr [dance dance revolution] which is becoming more and more popular among the teenage crowd. syrinx offers ddr at a very affordable price! five dollars every half an hour or ten an hour! at other places it's $2.00 per game!
the service is also great. tom the owner is a nice man with a wonderful personality, always getting to know his customers and making sure they get the best product.

There is a wide range of games, from first person shooters like Counterstrike and Battlefield 1942 to more strategically based games like the Empire Earth series. There are plenty of entertaining people who visit pLANet Syrinx as well to make the stay enjoyable. The owner Tom Masse is very friendly and eager to play games with customers as well when he has the time.
You can get drinks and food, and there is a pizza place right next door. After all, shooting bad guys is hungry work, and nothing matches up with video games like boxes of pizza. With lock-ins (where the players are locked in all night to play games to their little gaming heart's content) and tournaments with prizes, pLANet Syrinx is a must see for fans of gaming in any form.
