The job was fine. The workers were polite and considerate, and the outcome was good -- it hasn't leaked yet and it is quite attractive. There was a glitch in the scheduling, but it didn't cause me any problems. I have only one criticism: Because the dumpster, which sat in my driveway for the contractor's ease, was not removed until after the workers left the project, the issue of nails was not adequately addressed. I swept the driveway thoroughly myself and picked up a lot of nails. Then a few days later my car had a flat tire from two roofing nails because I'd parked it in the driveway. Today, a couple of weeks later, I found two more.

I am so impressed with this company, they called me 1/2 hour after I went on line to request info. They were doing a job in the town I needed work done and they went out there the same afternoon, called me with a quote and explained everything to me in detail. They arrived on the job a day early and they finished the next day. There was repairs that were unexpected and they called me before ever doing extra work. After the job was done their representative followed up to make sure everything was good. This company is awesome, very professional and ethical. I highly recommend them.

Tom Quinn contacted us the same day of our inquiry. He came to our house within 3 days of initial contact and walked us through the repair expectations providing a very reasonable quote. He was originally slated to come out to make the repair a week later but Tom contacted us ahead of schedule when he learned Tropical Storm Danny was bearing down on the area. Since water was leaking into the house from normal rain fall the prospect of heavy rains would have been devastating to us. Tom's proactive project managment approach significantly mitigated damage to our home. We would absolutely use this company again and recommend them to others.

They did an excellent job repairing the edge of my roof. Tom Quinn is a good honest guy. Even the replaced shingles match so well I can't tell any work was done at all. And the replaced gutter leaf protection was better than what I had before. I also hired him days later to replace my rotting threshold at my front door. His carpenter did an excellent job and the price was good. After these projects, Tom was very interested in how he and his team did in my opinion; seeking any areas for improvement. It's nice to see him seek self-improvement.

I needed roof replacement in addition to protection against future ice dams. I got 4 quotes, with Quinn's quote being the last one I got and it was also $5000 lower than the first quote. And, it was the same as one other quote (which I was about to go with and probably would have also been happy with), but I got the impression that Quinn would do a bit better job, and he took more time with me to explain the details about what he would do. He came out quickly (considering the awful rain we've been having), got the job done the same day (out by 4pm), roof looks good, yard is clean, and there is no damage to house or bushes.

We had roof leaks caused by ice dams. Tom Quinn of Shanahan and Quinn Construction responded within a few hours after our submission to Servicemagic. After inspecting the damage, he immediately removed the snow and ice from our roof, then gave us a quote for repairs and came up the next day with his crew to repair the problems. He was professional, courteous, and very knowledgeable. We would absolutely hire him again should we require any construction projects and would highly recommend him and his company.
