The contractors asked us to clear out for a few days while we had pergo flooring installed. It was so noisy and the contractors wanted to start at 7 AM, so I checked into the Ramada with the family. They were so nice and even served breakfast. We had fresh coffee and freshly made belgian waffles each morning and fresh linens. The price was the best in town and they even had a hot tub. It was luxury at a discount price. Instead of being stressed we actually had a wonderful time. Thanks to the manager Mr. Parish for being so kind to us.

3 weeks ago, my husband and I had to fly in from Netherlands, because my daughter was in ICU at Douglasville Hospital. We chose Hampton because of it's proximity, however, it was one of the best moves we made during a time when I don't have many things to be thankful for. We were in and out, and family coming in and out, yet the INN did everything to make our stay and our situation feel like we were among family. We managed to rent an apartment for my daughter, who was going through a divorce, in hopes that it would help her and because it was about time we did something. We were successful in finding a apartment, but with all the family coming in and out, it made it necessary to have a room or two open for our visitors. Then the worst happened, my daughter Attica Springfield passed on Oct 21, 2009, even during the worst of those times, they worked with us. The manager even came to my apartment to grieve with me. We have since returned to Netherlands and I will NEVER get over losing my daughter, but I think if there was some kind of award that could be given to a hotel that went beyond what was expected, I would nominate Rita and her group of workers. I can only say that if you stay at the INN, and you find you need help, these are the most generous people I have ever met. They did not know my daughter, but they felt the loss. I have never seen a "business"go so far beyond being a place to sleep, for a time it was home. During our short stay there, the Hampton Inn is the only positive I have about that whole experience. When they bring out the WELCOME mat, they extend their hearts.
Again, many thanks to Hampton Inn. I only wished we had been able to celebrate a better outcome. Love from the bottem of our hearts, Melody and Marcel Koert-Lelystad Netherlands
