This is definitely one of Douglasville's best restaurants, perhaps one of the better in the Atlanta area. The cajun entrees are authentic and very good. The portions are large so be prepared to take some home! One of my favorite dips is the remoulade sauce. Spicy but just right! Get there before 5:00 p.m. or be prepared to wait. This place is very popular on Friday and Saturday nights!

I have used Douglas Pediatrics in the past and although I had no direct problems with the medical doctors, the staff is not always friendly and they are extremely slow in returning phone calls regarding insurance/prescription refills/lab results/etc. I also had a major problem with the cleanliness of the office and exam rooms, on numerous occasions I saw dead bugs on the floor of the exam rooms. The main lounge could use a new coat of paint and all the floors need cleaning, thus the reason we changed Pediatricians.

I recently moved to this area and chose this Vet after a nightmare of a time with a different doctor I ignorantly chose from the Yellow Pages. My neighbor referred me to this place and I'm so very pleased. They were professional, caring and compassionate with my little one (and she tends to be feisty). The office staff is just as great as the doctor and the prices are fair.

This isn't for the Olive Garden crowd. Provino's is your slow-cooked, authentic Italian sauce, mouth watering pasta, garlic rolls smothered in melted butter, drinks - appetizers - salad - meal - more drinks - desert kind of place. Seating is quick, even on a Friday night (20-30 minutes at worst). Tucked away down the sidewalk from ColdStone ice cream, you'll not have room for desert once you gobble a meal of their Sausage Parmesan or Chicken Francois. Good luck fitting yourself back inside that SUV. An excellent place for a first date, or to make up for that anniversary you missed. Appetizers galore, with Cheese Cake to die for. In four years I have never had a single poor experience with service, food, or desert at Provinos Douglasville the place for the discerning Italian food junkie and wine connoisseur. Casually sophisticated, well priced, and if you dont clear your plate each time youre there, you must have eaten too much food off of someone else's.
Pros: Friendly, Delicious, Romantic
Cons: Not open for lunch -

A long standing tradition in Douglas County, Carollo's has been family owned and operated since they opened their doors. Known for their fantastic salads and filling pasta dishes, this small eatery offers fantastic desserts too. Located in the heart of Downtown Douglasville, Carollo's is a favorite amongst the lunch crowd coming from the government offices and nearby hospital. Their lunches are tempting in price too, definitely not a bank-breaker in this eatery. This is also a favorite for locals for a casual but yummy weeknight date.

This steakhouse is always voted best steak in Douglas co. for a reason. Of course you may get a server not up to par, but it is like that ANYWHERE you eat at these days. Other times you may get a server who is right on top of your every need. Looking past the good and bad service days, the steaks there are supurb. They are so tender. They have the best ribeye around. They make logans look really bad. They do have lack of parking, but I am pleased to say they are moving to a much larger location here in the near future.
My husband and I go there every yr. for Valentines day and our anniversary. We are always treated good and have had no issues with the taste of the food. The only complaint I even have is they may not always get your drinks refilled quick enough, but as busy as they are I can understand. These servers can only work so fast.
Pros: The food itsself
Cons: Lack of parking at present location and where it is located. Will be moving soon though to a larger spot.
