Dig into classy all-American eats at this stylish eatery near Comerica Park.
In Short
Within walking distance from Comerica Park, this burger joint merges the worlds of Joe Hamburger Eater and Pierre Art Connoisseur. Lit-up glass bar and granite tables give a contemporary feel. The original lunch and dinner menu from the Birmingham location carries over (sliders with onions, cheeseburgers), with some additions. Grilled sandwiches and a healthy selection of salads are also offered. Floats and malts are available.

This is the closest to the great hamburger places in Grand Rapids in the late 1940's-early 1950's such as "InWeGo," "Kewpee," the first "Big Boy" on East Divsion in 1958.  More >
