For years this is what the Salvation Army was all about. The money that is
brought in from the Salvation Army Thrift Stores is put back into the system to
help out the poor, the needy and the downtrodden. So when you donate your
unwanted goods, you are also helping greatly to this service. There are positive ways everyone can help. If you have something you can't use...donate. You know that purple top you got for christmas that still has
the tags on it...donate it. It will help your heart smile!

This office is located downtown, in Detroit, just a bit beyond the City County Building. Beautiful offices, well maintained and centrally located in the One Detroit Center building. Many areas of expertise in this practice. Environmental, medical malpractice, bankruptcy are just a few. The attorneys work hard and are very knowledgeable, as well as the staff that supports them. Prices are in line with other attorneys, expensive!!

: Very fast and reliable, and the work they do is very high quality and worth every penny. Their prices are very fair and comparable to other local businesses. Even though they are not as well known as some of the bigger companies around town they really know their stuff and the work they do is unbeatable.

The only real downsize about being a manager of one of the Salvation Army
Stores was having to drive into downtown Detroit once a month for our
Manager meetings. The area that it was located at gave me the creeps. Our
main boss who was overseer to all the stores in this zone would meet with
us each month. They call him a Major (salvation army lingo). Interesting enough at this particular location they also housed some fellows which were
living in for their rehabilitation program. The salvation army does a lot for a lot
of people and I don't think the public fully understands their efforts.

You couldn't find nicer staff in this quaint establishment. Waited a mere 20mins for their lunch special, the smothered chicken w/ mac n cheese, and yams for sides. The sides were great, the bun was wilted and hard, and the smothered chicken was unappealing. Watered down gravy over under/over cooked fried chicken. Result of fast cooking chicken in high heat. I'm sure there are some items on the menu that they cook well, based on looks of few patrons. Would I return, only if I had a craving for mac and cheese. Msg to owner/cook, taste your food and focus on presentation.
Pros: Good side dishes
Cons: Def not the best soul food in town

6/23/09 The technician came out, stated that my central air conditioner had multiple problems and repairs would total $2,000 and should just be replaced at a cost of $2,500. He did not have a receipt book and also left a cigarette butt on my lawn.
I paid another company to come out and they stated that the fan motor was broken and would cost $240. The air conditioner is working fine now.
I contacted Mastercraft for a refund for the service call. The owner stated that the receipt (which was created after the fact, dated for the next day and without my signature) stated the condenser fan was the issue. He would not provide even a partial refund for the service call. He did offer to service my furnace in the fall. However considering the circumstances, I declined the offer.
I believe the technician tried to take advantage of me and the company, in my opinion, should not be trusted. Everything in this statement is true and I have included all of the facts. This is about principle, not $64.

For awhile they were known to be the least expensive insurance available around
but unfortunately, as with anything else, they began increasing their rates to the
point that they are even higher than others. If you do go, ask a lot of questions
before you sign any papers. Make sure you know what you are getting into. My
personal experience is that they are not as low as they try to make themselves
seem!!!
