I have taken music classes here on occasion, and my son has as well. Essentially, a student can complete the first 2 years of a 4 year education here and than transfer to the college of choice. They have partnered with a number of the colleges and universities in Illinois on establishing a standard, transferable curriculum for the first 2 years.
There are also a number of resources available including academic advising and counseling.
If you live in district, Oakton is a great educational alternative.

II'm a huge Beatle's fan (I bet you couldn't guess from the yellow sub in my profile) so every year you will find me at this great hotel, enjoying the Fest for Beatles Fans. This place holds great memories for me because the Fest has been held here for so many years. I love the Terrace Garden restaurant (the fajitas are wonderful!) and as you would expect, the service is first-rate. This lovely restaurant also features one of the most amazing Mother's Day brunches you will ever see. The brownies they often sell throughout the hotel are great too and the rooms are nice, I especially like the ones with the balcony.

Lunar Landscaping in Des Plaines is a great company to do business with. All of their employees are kind and do outstanding work. We have had Lunar taking care of our lawn mowing for the past year and a half, and let me tell you, no other company that we have had in the past can compare. Vito (the owner) is a stand up man that works with all aspects of work to be completed. Very reasonable on pricing that does not limit quality of work.

I can say about this company and the work they do, only good things.On time, attention to every detail, very professional,good price and quality. No miscommunications, no misunderstandings. If you decide to change or do something about your floors, you shoud try this company, you will be very pleased. We like the fact that the owner is present in the job is very important.

Awesome food at an affordable price cant beat this chinese food. Once your done with your plate just grab another. I went in on a thursday and they had crab leggs and it was awesome all you can eat crab legs it was only about 13$ a person because of the crab but wow is it worth deff worth checking out if your near des plaines.

I discovered this wonderful park one day when I was on my way to the nearby Target. I've been in love with it ever since. This particular area is called Axehead Lake. (I know, it sounds like something you would see in a horror flick, but there are no dudes with hockey masks named Jason running around, I promise!) There's a lagoon with ducks and geese, a nice place to fish, have lunch, go for a long walk in the woods. It's so scenic and tranquil here.

I've been buying work (dress) clothers for years. I'm into firly big sizes now 18/35 shirt, 54 jacket, and Syms is the best choice for those clothes at moderate prices. I've bought shirts, ties, sportcoats and suits over the years. They have great brand names at moderate prices.
Yesterday, I got 4 dress shirts (all 100% cotton, with brands like Nautica and Geoffrey Beene) and 2 extra long silk ties for under $100, thanks to a coupon I received in the mail.
They have sales twice a year, around Presiden't Day and the fall, where prices are dropped about 15% or so.
I've found them to be less competitive on socks, shoes and accessories, so I buy those elsewhere. Still, they are a very good choice for men's dress clothing.
