This is a great French restaurant. I am a fan of mussels, and mussels happen to be the specialty of the house. Even though there isn't all that much meat in a mussel, Le Central's serving size is so large that you will not be able to finish them all. They come with thin and crispy french fries (and they will bring more fries if you finish them). As you might expect, Le Central also makes a fabulous onion soup, with the traditional gruyere and french bread. Le Central's tag line is that it is the "affordable french restaurant." I'll say! The mussels will cost you less than $10, and there are many other delicious choices. Don't skip dessert -- after all, this is a French restaurant. Try the creme brulee -- it is the best in Denver.

Le Central is a delicious French restaurant. They make tasty food that is inexpensive and tastes very authentic. The best thing there by far are the mussel dishes. They come in a variety of flavors and believe it or not, there are refills of the bucket. Finish it off with their delicious deserts.

Well, my girlfriends and I decided to meet at this cozy little place in an effort to change it up a bit. We were VERY pleased! The service was great! Very neat atmosphere. It was like we were at a cafe in France.
I ordered Pain Perdue, which is two fluffy pieces of french toast, served with a cup of vanilla custard and a cup of fresh fruit. TO DIE FOR!
And affordable too! My Pain Perdue cost only $7. And their Mimosas are only $2!!

This is a darling little French restaurant with great service, a comfortable atmosphere, and food that is just incredible. My parents swear by the seafood, but since I'm allergic, I'd have to recommend anything they do with beef, particularly the filet mignon.

While the service here is hit or miss, and the menu changes almost daily, you can count on consistently good French food at very reasonable prices. This is not a place I'd choose for a romantic dinner or for special occasions, it can get a bit loud and crowded, and the service can be slow. But it's a great place to treat yourself to lunch during the week.
