If you want a good Itailian Restaurant with no frills, Pasquini's will be perfect. We shared the large salad and 1 Calzone. The salad with Balsamic was excellent and the Classic Calzone was outstanding. The manager even came over to see if we were happy, which we were.
If you go make sure to get the chocolate mousse encased with a hard dark chocolate, it is addicting.
This place is highly recommended.
Pros: Great Food, Great Service, Great Desserts
Cons: small establishment

We are a pizza-loving family and we love Pasquini's. In my opinion, they have the best pizza in Denver!! Whenever our family is looking for a casual dinner out--we end up at Pasquini's. The pizza is the gem here but the other menu items are very good too. My husband ordered the eggplant parmesan last week and was very pleased. The atmosphere is very casual and the place can get a bit loud especially on the week-ends but that is why it is a great place for families and groups.

It isn't hip to say that Pasquini's has the best pizza anymore - but it does. Most everyone has eaten there at least a few times over the 20 some years that they have been around. Rather, most people want to prove to everyone that they know of the newest restaurants in town, many of which have cracker thin pizza and more PDAs beeping than a World of Warcraft convention.
When I have a big date night or my parents come to town, I always take them to Pasquini's. My dad would scoff at the cracker pizzas that most places try to pass off as food. At Pasquini's, we can get a large pizza and a bottle of wine for just a few bucks. A great neighborhood place.
Pros: Ambience
Cons: Parking

Pasquini's has great salads too. I dig!

Just tried this place out for the first time. I ordered a Chicken Caesar Salad for take out for lunch. I know about Caesar salads extremely well because they're the only ones I've been ordering with my meals or stand alone for over a decade now, wherever in the country I go out to eat. I've literally had THOUSANDS of different Caesar's and this hands down, without thinking about it is THE WORST!!! As soon as the waitress delivered it to me I looked at two little containers full of something that looked just like coagulated potato salad with lots of snot on it! I asked her what it was, and she responded 'That's the dressing.' I just looked at her for a second.
'That's the dressing?!' I said with a shock
'Well, when you order it to go it kinda holds together like that.'
WTF????!!!!!! No Caesar is supposed to look exactly like mustard potato salad with snot on it. It was exactly the consistency of potato salad when I attempted to mix it with the salad which is impossible. It tasted OK I guess, not so much like Caesar dressing should though, but how can you get past the fact that you're eating a Caesar with something that looks like MUSTARD POTATO SALAD WITH SNOT ON IT!!!!!!!
Whatever genius 'chef' came up with this recipe is a hack!!!! As an epicurian, I'm livid that this place is allowed to stay in business!!!

We went to this location and it looks great from the outside but they fail to truly utilize the potential of this place w/ bar and restaurant as well as indoor and outdoor space. That said, it's still quaint enough and we've enjoyed the location on 17th before but this food was way below par. The pesto penne was incredibly over seasoned w/ pesto and the general quality of the ravioli would have been better from chef boyardee...I know tough but true. The waiter turned out to be the manager as well and when we gave him feedback on the pesto dish he agreed but said that next time we come in to look for him and he'll give us a deal...c'mon! We've been to a lot of restaurants around this town and have had good/bad experiences but when you give genuine feedback and you agree that it's subpar, you either comp that dish or try to get you to return with a free coupon to some sort. We got desert to go which looked good and after a couple bites is now in our trash...bummer. Anyway, people were nice enough and we really wanted to like this place is it's a cool layout, but we'll never go back there...thx for reading :)
Pros: potential
Cons: cysco quality

The decor is original, not like some chain. Make sure to check out the bathrooms.
Wait staff is always courteous and fast

I put a review down on the other Pasquini's link here, but figured I'd share that perspective here in case someone misses that one. I have to agree that the service and the food are each pretty questionable (The service more so than the food, but the food's inconsistent enough to wonder what just happened). I also agree with the comment on the "hipster" of it - sometimes it seems like the service might be so "cool" that it's not always there to seat you, to take your order, or to get your order right - maybe more just to be cool. I will say that, in the few times I've been, it was great once, truly bad other times, while gotten better. BTW - I guess it'll take me a few minutes to figure out how all the ranking stars are full (nearly), while the reviews I read here are not good.

Why do people like this place so much? Everytime I have eatten there, I've wanted to come back less. Now I don't think I'll go back. Delevery time is NEVER under and an "hour &15." The food is decent as they use good ingreedients but the sercice is TERRIBLE. The stupid hipsters they have working there with their F-U attitude make the experience. Goodbye
Pros: bread sticks
