Buying an engagement ring can be a very stressful experience. After talking to my friends who have gone through the process, I was a bit hesitant to even start looking. Like many others my age, I went straight to google for some advice on the manner. I typed in "best jeweler in Denver" and the # 1 hit was Laurent Diamonds on city search. After reading a few reviews, I thought I would start there. Shortly after arriving at Lauren Diamonds I realized that the google search could not have been more accurate.
I expected, from my friends influence, that I would be pressured into buying right from when I entered the store OR that I would not get good service because of how young I appear. Neither of these preconceived notions could have been more wrong. The first thing that was said to me as I started to look at diamonds is that I was not expected to buy for some time and that it could take weeks to figure this all out. I was also told that they would like to keep me below my preestablished price range. They stayed true to all of their promises and I never felt nervous about any part of the process.
It ended up taking me about 5-6 weeks to purchase the ring. I am very happy with the help I received and I the ring is perfect.
The only thing that shines more than the diamond, is my review of Lauren Diamonds. Thanks for making this a stress free process.

I have had the pleasure of buying a couple of unusual watches. This last time I had Jeremy find a no longer made ulysse nardin watch, it was difficult to find, only a few left around the world. Jeremy found it, and gave me a very good price. I know I am not a big dollar customer, yet every time I have gone into Osters I always am made to feel like I am their best customer. Thank you Jeremy and Oster, I love the watch, and it is very accurate. You guys are terrific, Thanks again, Barton PS. A lot of folks out there seem to be very uptight and not friendly when they go into a store, maybe attitude directly affects the way you get treated.

This is a wonderful Mom and Pop store (literally!) that sells African Violet houseplants and supplies. They carry everything you could need for happy and gorgeous plants, even lighted plant stands to grow indoors. They also carry a few other types of plants from time to time, such as geseneriads and orchids. The friendly staff will be glad to give you some growing tips. They also offer a mail order catalog.
The owner also sells canaries, which he breeds himself! His collection includes some exotic red-factors too. The males are strong singers, and the females make nice chirpy companions. Pet supplies such as cages, seed and treats are also available. This place is really unique and worth checking out. Note that they are closed Tuesdays and Sundays. There is street parking on Broadway, and a small lot in back.

Have you ever seen the movie Breakfast at Tiffany's, where Audrey Hepburn's character says that when she gets the "mean reds" she just goes to Tiffany's and feels safe, like "nothing bad can happen to you there"? This place is like that for my wife. When she gets in a real funk, all she has to do is go there and look at their huge selection of silver jewelry. Even I was impressed by their stock. They have trays and trays of differrent rings, some of the most unique designs I've ever seen, and for very reasonable prices. They also have a fun assortment of random stuff- magnets, postcards, toiletries, wall hangings, purses, baby toys... You have to see it to believe it.

My finace and I looked several places for engagement rings. I fell in love with a ring (and it was later purchased for the proposal). My finace had so many great things to say about the service and expertise while he was in the process of deciding on the ring. Since then we've been back several times for fittings, cleanings, and wedding bands. They've custom made my band to match the beautiful engagement ring. The staff is so helpful and friendly. I feel like we've known them for a long time. I highly recommend this store.

This place is amazing. At first I was your typical guy and didnt know anything about diamonds. I studied all I could before going into Jay's and lets just say was blown away by their professionalism and the amount they cared. Brenda is a saint to put up with me as I am not easily pleased. I am beyond excited, and will truly miss going in there and meeting with them.
Jay Feder is a place for everybody...go....you wont be disappointing.
Pros: Friendly, educated, caring, patient and so much more

I took my engagement set and another ring into William Crow for a repair of several broken prongs. They rebuilt the entire crown, plus cleaned all 3 rings. I was amazed - they all looked like new. The work was done quickly (less than a week) and the price was reasonable for all the work they did. The lady who helped me was very nice. I'll definitely use them again when I need a good jeweler.
