I eat here at least once a month and Panzano is very consistent with good service and very good food. I usually get one of the daily specials, fish, pasta or veal. Desserts are also very good. Stay away from the grilled romaine salad.

A bar area offers space for solitary dining or power-drinking with the boss. Large tables accommodate bigger groups, while booths offer comfortable intimacy.
The Food
Appetizers are simple but flavorful, like tuna carpaccio accented with artichokes and lemon zest, or refreshing, house-made mozzarella with strips of portobello, tiny tomatoes and grilled eggplant. Pasta highlights include capellini with fresh tomatoes and tender shrimp, and homemade ravioli steeped in cream sauce. Instead of settling on just one dessert, finish with the selezione de giorno--three or four small selections from the menu that allow a few bites of the chef's favorites.

My husband and I were in Denver for my birthday. We had a very romantic dinner at Panzano's. The hostess was lovely and our service was excellent. We made reservations and were seated right on time. The wine and food were wonderful. I will definitely return on my next visit to Denver!

Even with the departure of acclaimed chef Jennifer Jasinski, Panzano is serving up good Italian food. Its bread is delicious, its pasta combinations flavorful and unique and the setting is elegant, quite the change from the preconceptions one might have about a hotel restaurant. Panzano is a wonderful place for a late lunch of delicious salads and warm bread or a holiday dinner with the family. It may be even better as a Sunday breakfast spot, however. While other restaurants are stuck in the mode of serving later brunch, and often buffet style, Panzano opens early and serves strong coffee, unique egg dishes and a stellar french toast. Just be sure to arrive early, before the good breads are gobbled up.

I went with 3 other people for my prom night, and it was incredible. Our food took a relatively long time to arrive (hour and a half), but we were constantly being given appetizers and were even given a sample of a type of ravioli, compliments of our waiter. It was worth it though, the food was excellent. However, due to all the appetizers that we were given, there wasn't any room for dessert. I will definitely be back again, it was an amazing experience.
