Handle Bar and Grill is a fun diner with a unique cyclists’ theme. The food is excellent, with plenty of different options. Their special Honey Spice salad dressing was particularly tasty, and their crème brule was absolutely divine! The service was prompt and friendly, as well, despite the diner atmosphere. I recommend this restaurant to anyone who is looking for a fresh new taste!

Often just called the “Handlebar”. This restaurant is located on the corner of Alameda and Downing in central Denver near Washington Park. This cyclist themed restaurant serves American food. You can order something like meat loaf with a side of mashed potatoes or something more traditional like a hamburger. The nachos are so big that a half order can fill up two people. The half orders cost only $3.99. A full order can fill up four people. Of course you have to make up for the cheap nachos by spending money on one of the many beers they have on tap. There are tvs scattered throughout the restaurant which lends itself to a sports bar kind of feel but the cycling theme is well worth going to see. I am talking about bicycling not motorcycling. There are jerseys of cyclists scattered throughout the restaurant as well as actually bicycles hanging from the walls and ceiling. It is a fun place to go.
