I ordered a birthday cake for my son's 5th birthday from this place and was VERY disappointed. The cake was dry, the decoration was nothing more than an edible image which I probably could have done myself... we didn't enjoy it at all. For the price I paid, I expected much more, and they made a giant profit for very little effort. Perhaps Cakes by Karen specializes in wedding cakes and not birthday cakes. Ah well, live and learn.

I have had several cakes made here and they all have been beautiful and very tasty too. They have a wonderful raspberry filling that is the best. They have a vast selection of flavors to choose from. Very professional service. Would highly recommend. Prices are a bit high, but worth it for very special occasions. Order early in the summer months, there are a lot of weddings for them to keep up with.
