I have been going to El Tesoro quite often since they opened and I have to say that the place just keeps getting better and better. The food is consistently awesome, very authentic, with great variety (house-ground chorizo chilaquiles---amazing!). Every time I have been in, the service is warm and knowledgeable. If you are a tequila connoisseur, this is your place!! They have many shelves jam packed with tequila, making for a whole page on the menu. Fun margaritas too, my favorite is the Ginger Margarita--can't get it anywhere else!
Pros: Great prices, food, service and drinks!
Cons: None!

I'm so happy with Dr. Smith's treatment. Anytime I have a back problem I go to him and he is always right on the money with his diagnosis. I'm positive that his advice gets me back to my normal activity quicker than other methods I have used in the past, including other therapists. I really like how he combines adjusting, stretching, and exercise in his therapy. His sports massage therapy is great too.

The Dekalb Farmer's Market is a great place to shop! They have a huge selection of fruits, veggies, meats, cheese, wine, bread, spices, etc. The prices on most things is very competitive, especially on the fruits/vegestables, specialty cheese, and spices. All of the employees are very friendly and helpful, and it is so much fun to visit. The only downside is they only take cash, check or debit cards. Overall, my favorite place to grocery shop in Atlanta.

My wife & I have visited Bhojanic every week, since we discovered it in early Summer. Both of us have eclectic taste, and we enjoy eating out. Besides the food, which I think is the best Indian food in Atlanta, I like the service, that it is clean, the environment is comfortable (they had live jazz music last Friday, unsure of the day) and incredible value. By value I mean great quality food, good proportion at a great price. I really like restaurants that provide good value, and there aren't many that do. Either the food is mediocre or the price is too high.
Pros: food, value, clean
Cons: none

The dosas are outstanding. It's wonderful to have so many South Indian restaurants in Decatur, but Udipi stands out. Vegetarians will be in heaven. We don't go often enough, but only because there are so many dining options in the area.

I waited 4 years before getting a real haircut (more than a trim) because of past experiences. Although Forbici's was highly recommended, I was still fearful of cutting off my long hair. Marty and her daughters were so wonderful that now I look forward to my next haircut. Marty spent an hour perfecting my haircut so that not a strand was left uneven. Her daughters were charming hostesses, the conversation was lively and the atmosphere felt as though I was in the living room of a favorite aunt. I got all that and decades of Marty's expertise for less money than I paid at Van Michael's New Talent (apprentice) salon. And the experience was infinitely more enjoyable.
Pros: Great haircut, happy experience
Cons: None

Love a good burger? Then try one from Twain's. Twain's has the best burger I've had in a long time. And I LOVE a good burger!! Made to order and cooked perfectly, it comes served with the usual lettuce, tomatoe, onion, with additional toppings available (mushrooms, jalapeno peppers, etc.). The sweet potato fries are also fantastic -- served by the basket, they are crisp and served piping hot. Also really, really good are: The beer, of course!! They brew their own. The French Dip - LOADED with meat and cheese; the Cuban Sandwich - grilled to perfection; the Wings (their medium is pretty hot!); the Hummus (spicy); and the Greek Salad - generous on the feta and real kalamata olives. The restaurant itself is a huge bar and billiards room, with additional arcade and darts areas. The long bar probably seats 20 people, and there are 2 TV's usually set on sports. Go on a Saturday afternoon and sit with Bartender Sarah. Sarah REALLY knows her beers, and is an interesting character, with her long black braids and big black rimmed glasses. A total hoot!! Service is always great. The prices are very reasonable for the amount of food served, and the atmosphere is very pleasant (non-smoking).

Eddie's Attic focuses on one thing, and it does it well. That one thing is not the food, which is mediocre, and not the bar scene, which is conducted in whispers. It's all about the music, and almost exclusively acoustic music. Eddie's sound quality is superb and the venue has rules which encourage the audience to listen, and most people abide by that. It's known as a place where local music comes to get discovered, and if you go to one of the numerous open mike nights, you'll see the next John Mayer or Indigo Gal wanna-be. But on the weekends Eddie's will usually have a headliner and charge a modest cover. Most of the music is folky, singer-songwriter stuff, but I've seen an electric show. I also saw a great classical cellist there. I love the fact that people go for the music, not to be seen, so you can be casual. And the place is full of small tables, so you'll get a seat unless the show is a sell out.
