All I've got to say, the dude's who own Brickstore, have outdone themselves. Just around the corner from BS, Leon's is in the old gas station/antique store. Wonderful community driven spot, singles, couples w/children, the girlz of Decatur, and the overall community spirit. Very similar beer selections as Brickstore, but with some of the best gourmet pub grub around. After ordering our beers, it was starters of Pub Frites, w/choice of two sauces. We chose the Spicy Mango Catsup & Fresh Horseradish Mayo. These babies, we could make a meal of, with the beer, and cozy booth. But we wanted the full experience of this new hot spot. I ordered the Slow Roasted Beef Brisket, w/Black Peppercorn gravy, fried onions. serverd open faced. Oh man, grandma never made brisket like this. My buddy, Birkenstock kind of guy, had the earth seared "Veggie Loaf", w/roasted cauliflower-shitake sundried sauce, sundried tomato salad w/a pecan romesco. He was in veg-head heaven. Service was great, laidback, no rush, and just the overall experience has crowned Leon's a new hang-out joint.
Pros: Great Beer Selection, Outstanding Bar Grub, & Frites!
Cons: Can't Decide Whether it's Leon's or Brickstore!

I purchased a Nissan Murano from Troncalli Nissan in May 2005. My husband and I were not looking for a good deal, we wanted a great deal. We live about 1 hour and 15 minutes from Troncalli, and we had checked out every dealership Atlanta. My husband called up Troncalli, and told them he wanted the best price, and no bull. They gave him the price, and then we tried to get our local dealer to match the price, but they wouldn't budge!! So we bought from Troncalli. The dealership was under construction when we were there, so the office was in a trailer, but other than that we had an excellent experience. Since we negotiated the price over the phone, all we had to do was sign the papers and drive off....it took a total of about 1 hour. I recommend checking them out if you are in the Atlanta area, and want to buy a Nissan.

Hot Wok!! The Indian version of Chinese food (no, really) Chinese chef from Bombay wips up some mean grub. If you are like me (pale skinner who loves hot food) put this on your list. Awesome for vegetarians, but avoid the beef (serves mostly an Indian crowd). Ginger fish is awesome, Paneer (Indian cheese) Manchurian is awesome. VEG hot & sour soup is right on! Service is good, owner/chef is awesome. Take a little drive and have a good time. I could eat here every day...

Victory Vintage specializes in furniture and collectibles from the 50's to the 70's. Stuff that has a retro chic look to it. Oddly shaped couches from the 60's that look like they could have been taken from the original Star Trek. Stackable classroom chairs from the 70's. Beautifully designed audio equipment and bookshelves. It's always interesting and unique and sometimes, amazingly beautiful. You can make real finds here, but no bargains, unfortunately.
