Visiting friends in Atlanta, I lucked upon this semi-hidden gallery and thought I was back in Chelsea. They might have the best selection of contemporary British artists in the Southeast. Ruth Franklin is a star - or should be. Chris Pig's prints are rock'n'roll on paper, or maybe punk rock. Too much talent to mention here, including Royal Society members and even a Warhol and a couple Eschers. Art lovers - pay attention!

Vinson Gallery is located on the square in Decatur, next to Zocalo's restaurant. It's tucked away in the back of a building. You can find a sign for it hanging over a simple doorway which takes you down a narrow hall and into the gallery. It's small, but worth finding if you're on the square. The art is interesting, focusing on British painters and printmakers.

Visiting friends in Atlanta, I lucked upon this semi-hidden gallery and thought I was back in Chelsea. They might have the best selection of contemporary British artists in the Southeast. Vinson Gallery is located on the square in Decatur, next to Zocalo's restaurant. It's tucked away in the back of a building. You can find a sign for it hanging over a simple doorway which takes you down a narrow hall and into the gallery. It's small, but worth finding if you're on the square. The art is interesting, focusing on British painters and printmakers.
