This spa is GREAT! I had a great facial with DEBORAH, and it was very inexpensive. She's truly knowledgeable and talented. She asked me my skin goals & RECOMMENDED products . I'm going to go back soon for Microdermabrasion.the place was clean, and the staff was so friendly.

Thank you Kristin for your mineral foundation.!!! I was a user of the "well known" mineral foundation. I never could match my skin tone because I'm so fair in the winter and tan in the summer. I also felt the foundation made my pores more noticeable and Kristin explained it was because of an ingredient "they" use called bismuth. Not only does Stella Bella not use bismuth but there is zinc in her foundation that has cured my acne. I suspected it was the foundation healing my skin but had it proven to me when I went to the beach this summer and wore no make-up for 5 days. I came back from the beach with 7 cystic ZITS! I've been back from the beach for less than 3 weeks and my skin is almost completely healed. I feel like one of those commercials. Thank you!!!

Core Body is a new gym and is outfitted with all new weight machines, aerobic machines and equipment. Maybe because it's still new, or maybe because the staff works diligently, it's one of the few gyms which feels clean and looks good. The group exercise room, where they have classes, is small but has shining hardwood floors and 40 foot high ceilings. Most of the aerobic machines each have their own tv monitor with cable, so you don't have to fight with your neighbors about what to watch. Not that anyone would fight here. There's a lot less ego and testosterone at this gym than a place like LA Fitness.

Grow is located in a new development in the old Biolab building on East College Ave. The space is roomy, with tall ceilings and brick walls. It's very casual and the clientele seems to include as many men as women. The staff are incredibly nice and are quick to offer you a beer or other drink. What I like most about Grow is that the prices are really reasonable and varied, depending on the experience of the stylist. Some only charge $25 for a shampoo and cut, which is great for the quality of the hair cut I received.

Natural Body is a day spa which offers massages, facials, pedicures. It also offers a host of treatments involving aromatherapy and seaweed and the like. The store also sells hair and beauty products in a retail area in the front. Many of the products are heavily scented, and it's a joy just to walk through the store, which has a very peaceful atmosphere. The gift certificates for their services make great gifts. My wife has been for several treatments and loves it, but says that the quality of the service can vary a bit depending on the person doing it.

My friend goes here sometimes to get her nails done and everytime she comes back to show me her nails they always seem to look different and even better each time. They always give her whatever kind of nail styles that she wants even if they are out of a certain polish. They'll just order some more right then. They are really good friends with my friend and they even give her really low prices to get her nails done.

The Wellness Center is located within the Dekalb Medical Center and is related to that facility. Staff at the hospital have free or discounted access to the Center and so do the patients, from what I can gather. But the Center is also open to the community at large, and it's a great option for people who live in the North Decatur area. The prices are very competitive, $43 per month, with no sign up fee like most gyms, or you can pay $415 a year, with the option to stop the membership whenever you take a vacation from the city or from working out. The Center has a pool, a small track, free weights and weight machines. Best of all, at no time does it get crowded here. If you go down the street to the YMCA at 7 pm, you'll have to wait for a cardio machine, but that's unheard of here. Although it has a lot going for it, it is a bit dilapidated and suffers from a lack of energy.
