I have never been thrilled with the doctors at this office but it's close to my house and good enough. The magazine selection has much to be desired and I have found the staff to be very hit or miss. Some are extremely pleasant and some do not need to be working with the public. I have seen most of the doctors and felt they listened to you but were on the try and wait approach which isn't good when you're trying to end adult breakouts! I also have moles examined and they are very intent and do a good job.

When we moved to Decatur, we didn't know what vet to take our cats to. Eventually, we settled on Decatur Village Veterinary Center because they had an incredibly cute mural or happy animals bounding about in a grassy field. If only they'd spent half the effort on the inside of their offices, which are a bit gray and slightly dilapidated. The vets there were always quite good, but we had less than great experience with some of the staff up front and the techs. We've since taken our cats to the Emory Animal Hospital which we prefer.

The doctor will rip you off. You will not get an itemized receipt for your visit.
I called ahead, they told me that visits start at $92, and go up after that depending on if you have any tests done. I refused all tests, my case was as simple as possible so no tests were needed. I knew I had strep throat. The doctor even told me that even if he did test me, the test has a 10% inaccuracy rate so they would treat me even if the test was negative. So I had no tests performed. Why then, are you charging me $120 instead of the $92 for a simple visit, I asked. The nurse told me, "the doctor decides how much the visit costs and enters in a code, so I don't know what made it cost more." So no one could tell me where I incurred the extra $28 charge. Did I ask too many questions? Was I not friendly enough? Does the doctor not like my t-shirt? Where is the criteria for his charges? Is it okay that he just shrugs his shoulders and pulls a number out of the air and decides to charge that? NO. DO NOT GO TO THIS CLINIC.
It's not right that they took advantage of me - I am a poor student who waits tables and I don't have insurance. The doctor knew that, but the corruption that apparently flows through his veins clouds his judgment, and he sees dollar signs on his patients. Don't contribute to this kind of practice.
Pros: Great parking
Cons: They'll rip you off
