You know the whole Steven King bit with Redrum being murder spelled backwards. For those of you new to the city, Redrum used to be Murder Burger before they decided they had to do something more politically correct. The food doesn't blow my socks off, but it's pretty solid fare. Try the ostrich burger--pretty interesting. Another favorite of mine are the mini corndogs. So cute, how can you resist?

Formerly Murder Burger, before they got all politically correct, RedRum Burger takes the burger stand and does a nice homage to it. You can get the greasy, fat laden cheeseburgers of old, but that's not all. They also have the low-fat Turkey burger, which, without any sauces, makes an excellent and healthy meal. The only thing about RedRum Burger is the price. They have the quintessential Six-Dollar burger, and it seems a little expensive for what you get. The ambiance is terrible, so eat outside if possible. Lots of flys, and the furnishings aren't very clean. But hey, that's part of the experience, right?

To to go to Redrum Burger. Redrum serves delicious burgers and shakes, and even features an ostrich burger, which is a rare treat. The fries are very salty, so ask for low salt if you don't want to burn off your taste buds.

The original Davis favorite, they recently changed their name from Murder Burger, but the food is just as good. Try an old fashioned vanilla coke, made with the real suryp. Their fries, layered with cheese, are tasty. And their burgers cant be beat by any of the chains in town. A true Davis classic not to be missed.
