I’ve been to Bombay twice in the past month! I didn’t even know there was a place in Danbury serving Indian cuisine until my friend took me there for dinner once. Their palak paneer (cheese cubes in spinach) is my favorite dish there and on occasion I order out from there after work. Their menu has a huge selection of dishes to choose from – everything, from chicken, lamb, to vegetarian.

I suppose this is a decent place to go...they have a pretty good selection, and theprices are somewhat discounted, but I like Stew's better...this place just seems a little more dreary or whatever you want to call it. That's more a service thing, though, than anything. The store, selection, and prices are just fine though.

The World of Diamonds, formerly called Creative Jewelers has a beautiful selection of diamonds in all shapes, sizes and settings. I was especially impressed with their engagement rings. They had the most beautiful settings and we were able to pick out eh perfect rings for us. They also do jewelery repair right at the store. I have brought many pieces there to be fixed, including the restringing of very old pearls and they did an amazing job. I can also bring in my wedding rings at any time to have them checked and cleaned. I totally trust them there and will continue to use them for all my diamond needs.

In Danbury you know you will get a good meal here and at Jk's by the war memorial and that's pretty much it.
I have been going to the Windmill for as long as I can remember. Now I go in with my family. It is one of the oldest restaurants in town and it owes it's success to great food and great prices. Plus it is without a doubt one of the cleanest places around.
The food is good wholesome diner food and for the most part excellent.
Most people in Danbury would rather come here than go to fancier/pricier restaurants because the food here is better.

Brunch is the best. I was not crazy about the Shepard's pie because it is Americanized (ground beef instead of chuncks of lamb). But the rest of the real Irish food is fantastic. I have not been there in a while because it has been taken over by the children on Friday and Saturday nights. If you are under 30 it's the place to go to party on Fri. and Sat. night. Sunday brunch is excellent for over 30 crowd.

I first came here because I had seen the advertisements and was hoping that it would be as good as advertised. It was, and I ended up buying a complete set of tires for my car which had been needing a new set for a while. The staff is helpful and the prices were the lowest that I could find in the area.

I thought this place would be just like any other buffet, but Century Buffet has a very large selection of dishes to choose from, more than many other Chinese buffets. It is very reasonably priced for the quality of food that you get and i would definitely recommend this place and would return there for another dinner.

If you like falafel and hummus then you must check out Hanna's. I've never actually sat down in the restaurant but I've gotten plenty of stuff to go. The restaurant is next door to the deli/market so if you don't make it to the eatery during lunch or dinner hours, stop in and pick up a bite at the deli. They also have a variety of foods you can take home and prepare yourself -- including some wonderful tahini.

This is a great store if you are looking for items that have been discontinued. But you really have to search. There are usually just a couple of an item, unless it is an advertised sale, and even then you have to hope they ordered enough. But the prices can be phenomenal if you hit it correctly. They have everything from purses to outdoor items and luggage. i have bought some christmas ornaments from past years at great prices. The store is small and cramped so you really have to search. but it is well worth it when you find a treasure.
