I go there every week and the only thing I can comment on is to keep an eye on expiration dates on everything you buy there. I have found some outdated items as I shop there. Prices are good on most things especially cereal and dairy products. I like the store and I will continue to shop there. They do not double coupons.

My husband and I get a kick out of the fact that when we brake down the pricing by item, its like a dollar a piece whenever we go ~ can't get that a "normal" grocery store!!

I have found everything from Pottery Barn closeouts to Restoration hardware closeouts. The prices cant be beat but dont expect to find help in the store, quick checkouts, or fresh fruit and veggies. After shopping here I always have to go to a 'real' supermarket for meats, fruits, veggies...but came home with lots of stuff I didnt know I needed. Right before the holidays is a great time to visit. Valentine decoration, easter decoration practically free if you ask me. :) .

Pros: -Great prices -You can find almost everything you need, including food, cleaning products, household items, gifts, office and school supplies, etc. -Spacious parking lot Cons: -Hand priced items, which means you have to make sure every item has a price tag -Manual scanning, which takes longer -Long lines, especially on weekends -Items expire quicker than at a regular supermarket, so you must check the expiration date on all perishables -No deli, butcher or bakery -Limited brands -Most produce spoils quickly Overall, I don't mind shopping at Xpect as long as I have time to check expiration dates and make sure everything has a price tag. The money I save is well worth the time and effort.

FROZEN FOODS, BEVERAGES, PET FOOD, CEREAL- ALL THE ITEMS YOU WOULD SHOP FOR AT A LARGER GROCERY STORE. WHILE I REALLY DO LIKE THE STORE THERE ARE SOME THINGS TO BE AWARE OF AHEAD OF TIME. THE PRODUCE NEEDS TO BE CONSUMED QUICKLY BECAUSE IT DOES TURN PRETTY QUICK. EVERYTHING IS CHECKED MANUALLY SO IT CAN TAKE A LITTLE LONGER TO CHECK OUT. THEY ALSO DON'T ACCEPT CREDIT CARDS. Xpect Discount has a variety of 'stuff' for extremely low prices. It's somewhat of a grocery store, but it has much more than a typical PriceChopper or the like. They have one section of 'Closeouts' which are items from other stores hat are sold at extremely low prices, and they get new closeouts every day - so it is somewhat like an Odd-Lot, where you'll never know what you're going to find. The only thing I have had a problem with is their produce, because I find it isn't very fresh and goes bad quickly and the fact that they don't have scanners, which can be annoying the price tag falls off of something.
