After a year with the office, although I was very happy with Dr. Paranyuk, I will not be going back because I am so disgusted with the utter lack of communication between the doctor's office and central billing office regarding patient financial issues.
I am a student and wanted the HPV series but couldn't afford to pay for it all out of pocket. I asked the doctor's office to check my coverage and they told me I was covered 80%. So I got two vaccinations and paid $50 for each. My insurance company ended up denying the claim for the shots after all, but I didn't find out until I got a bill from the central billing office for the full price of the first vaccination, which was over $150. I called the billing office to ask about it and the associate I spoke to on the phone was incredibly impolite. She was rude enough to tell me that it was my job to check my coverage, so that I wasn't covered was my problem. Needless to say, I hung up on her.
After speaking with the doctor's office and working with them, I am receiving some reimbursement; instead of owing over $300 for the first two vaccinations I have already received, I'll owe just over $100. However, I have received two very threatening letters from the central billing office -- one of which came AFTER I called the doctor's office to make sure they had been in touch with the central billing office about the resolution to my issue, and they told me yes -- which tell me that they will be getting their lawyer after me if I don't pay the incorrect balance of over $300.
From start to finish, this ordeal has been stressful and acrobatic. I have made so many phone calls and spent so much time working on this to try to owe as little as possible, and in the end I have two of three HPV shots and am trying to figure out a way to get the third affordably. Once I have this third vaccination I will never be speaking to or seeing anyone in that office again.

I had my first child with Physicians for Women and am now pregnant with my second. While my doctor, Dr. Gilotti, is wonderful, unfortunately, the office itself is so busy there are long hold times to speak to anyone, as a working mom appointments in the morning, evening or weekends are very difficult to get, nurses take all day to return a call regarding a simple question and you cannot speak to a doctor regarding a problem unless your problem is deemed an emergency. I finally got sick of the frustrating, impersonal treatment by the office staff and nurses and left in the middle of my second pregnancy. I just think that my doctor's office should be available to address my valid concerns (about pain, fatigue, etc.) even if they are not emergencies.

I CAME TO THIS GROUP IN 2001 WHEN I FOUND OUT I WAS PREGNANT WITH MY 1ST CHILD. THEY HAVE NOW DELIVERED 2 CHILDREN FOR ME AND I HAVE BEEN VERY HAPPY WITH THEIR CARE. OF COURSE MY OB/GYN WAS NOT THERE FOR EITHER BIRTH ( YOU KNOW-IT'S THAT MURPHYS LAW THING) BUT I WAS GIVEN THE OPPORTUNITY TO MEET ALL THE DOCTORS IN THE GROUP BEFORE I GAVE BIRTH SO IT WAS NOT SO SCARY. I HAD AN EMERGENCY C-SECTION BOTH TIMES AND WAS VERY HAPPY WITH THEIR CARE AFTERWARDS. I WAS SO HAPPY IN FACT THAT I HAVE STAYED WITH THEM.

Dr. Montesano and the rest of the "Physicians For Women" staff both doctors etc., are top shelf.
They have a mammography center in the lower level of the building as well. So it's one stop shopping.
If there is an emergency they are right on top of it. The always-return calls promptly unlike many
doctor's offices.
There has never been a problem with the fact I am a long distance patient having to drive an hour to see them. They have no problem coordinating care with both other Connecticut and Massachusetts hospitals, physicians etc.

I moved to Danbury when I was 6 mnts pregnant and this group practise accepted me as their patient with no problem. The doctors are great and very understanding. They are about 6 doctors in the practise.. so there is always someone available in case of an emergency. The nurses do a good job too. I would higly recommend this Ob/gyn to anyone.
