Though Zoo Leonard's is sometimes more fitting a title, there's a reason so many people go there. The store is just a great place to shop. Naturally, they have everything under the rainbow. I especially like their cheese cakes, cookies, and hot foods though. They're almost always freshly made that day....though I suppose that has more to do with the amount of traffic they have there than anything else. Still, fresh is fresh. Oh, and of course the service. Everyone seems alive, not a mindless drone...If you go here, don't expect to spend much under $100, though. The place is just too big.

As with Stew Leonard's dairy store, their wine shop is excellent. Greta selection, great prices, great staff...what more could one ask for. Basically, if you like their dairy store, you'll like their wine store. I highly recommend it to anyone and everyone, if of course your of age ;)

I suppose this is a decent place to go...they have a pretty good selection, and theprices are somewhat discounted, but I like Stew's better...this place just seems a little more dreary or whatever you want to call it. That's more a service thing, though, than anything. The store, selection, and prices are just fine though.

If you like falafel and hummus then you must check out Hanna's. I've never actually sat down in the restaurant but I've gotten plenty of stuff to go. The restaurant is next door to the deli/market so if you don't make it to the eatery during lunch or dinner hours, stop in and pick up a bite at the deli. They also have a variety of foods you can take home and prepare yourself -- including some wonderful tahini.

Trader Joes has a great assortment of foods you wouldn't normally find in a grocery store. Many of their foods are healthy and/or organic and they have everythign from all types of cheeses to cookies, pasta and cereals.
A fun place to walk around - but I know you'll end up leavign with something!!!

Bombay Sweet and Spicey is the only store in the area that has ingredients for Indian food (since supermarkets have a very limited selection). I only shop there when I prepare Indian cuisine, which is very infrequent. The products are on the pricier side but worth it if you want to make your own Indian dishes.

This market has a good selection of Asian food products and also has a large variety of vegetables. I have shopped there a couple of times when I couldn’t go to New York and it usually had the items that I needed. The shop seems a little cluttered but the staff is friendly and there is plenty of parking.

Karl Ehmer has great a great variety of deli meats to choose from and they are priced very reasonably. I have bought their sausages several times, which are especially good and I would recommend them to anyone. Whenever I want good salami for my sandwiches I make sure I stop by Karl Ehmer.
