As with Stew Leonard's dairy store, their wine shop is excellent. Greta selection, great prices, great staff...what more could one ask for. Basically, if you like their dairy store, you'll like their wine store. I highly recommend it to anyone and everyone, if of course your of age ;)

It's a chain restaurant but a great one. Portions are large, service is always great. Food is very tasty. Their chicken parm isn't the strongest. I always get the "Tour of Italy" one of these days I have to try something new. The rasberry cheescake is yum, split it! too rich not to share. The house red is always a good choice as well. The place is always busy, so if you can make a reservation, do it. If you don't have a reservation you will wait like 15-20 mins. at the bar for a table. The wait goes quick if you have a drink ; ) Their soups are always very good as well. I just love the Olive Garden.
Pros: Food
Cons: It's always busy and usually a wait for a table

I’ve been to Bombay twice in the past month! I didn’t even know there was a place in Danbury serving Indian cuisine until my friend took me there for dinner once. Their palak paneer (cheese cubes in spinach) is my favorite dish there and on occasion I order out from there after work. Their menu has a huge selection of dishes to choose from – everything, from chicken, lamb, to vegetarian.

I suppose this is a decent place to go...they have a pretty good selection, and theprices are somewhat discounted, but I like Stew's better...this place just seems a little more dreary or whatever you want to call it. That's more a service thing, though, than anything. The store, selection, and prices are just fine though.

Convenient location makes the Windmill a perfect stop for passers through and local residents. Time and time again, this establishment has provided consistent, quality food and service. Food especially is a highlight, as the fresh preparation is a welcome change from chain restaurants whose food is often half cooked ahead of time. Freshness is clearly achieved, as well as a sizable portion for generous portions at very reasonable prices.

Brunch is the best. I was not crazy about the Shepard's pie because it is Americanized (ground beef instead of chuncks of lamb). But the rest of the real Irish food is fantastic. I have not been there in a while because it has been taken over by the children on Friday and Saturday nights. If you are under 30 it's the place to go to party on Fri. and Sat. night. Sunday brunch is excellent for over 30 crowd.

If you like falafel and hummus then you must check out Hanna's. I've never actually sat down in the restaurant but I've gotten plenty of stuff to go. The restaurant is next door to the deli/market so if you don't make it to the eatery during lunch or dinner hours, stop in and pick up a bite at the deli. They also have a variety of foods you can take home and prepare yourself -- including some wonderful tahini.

You would never guess from the outside, but this is a wonderful restaurant. The setting (inside the Stop and Shop plaza) leaves something to be desired, but when you step inside you are in another world. Large umbrellas hang from the ceiling. The center of the room is filled with tables, and either side of the restaurant has booths that are raised so you have to step up to get into them. Waitresses dress in traditional thai clothing with long silk skirts. The food is excellent. Try the Bangkok Sampler and the #54 chicken dish if you don't want something too spicy-the pad thai is excellent too, as is the homemade coconut ice cream!

It is by far the best pizza in the area. I come from out of town to get it for the family. They all love this pizza. I just wish they delivered!!! Everyone who works there is great. You can eat-in if you want or take out. We have done both. Never a bad experience here!!! Try it, you'll like it.
Pros: Pizza
Cons: This place is usually busy

Numero 1 is a great little Italian place in Germantown. The pizza is amazing, huge pasta servings, and they have the best chicken parm around (at least, that's what I'm told, I'm a vegetarian). My husband and I get take out from here once a week, and more often than not, we have leftovers for lunch the next day. Even better, Augie's back to the business! He is the heart of Numero 1; a great, charming, guy.
