Convenient location makes the Windmill a perfect stop for passers through and local residents. Time and time again, this establishment has provided consistent, quality food and service. Food especially is a highlight, as the fresh preparation is a welcome change from chain restaurants whose food is often half cooked ahead of time. Freshness is clearly achieved, as well as a sizable portion for generous portions at very reasonable prices.

A cute little bagel shop which has a good variety of bagels. their prices are comparable to other places, but I really like their choice of bagels. I think they have one special bagel that changed every day or week - sometimes a jalapeno one, or apple and cinnamon, or something interesting.
A great stop to pick up a dozen bagels!

This Wendy's is the best in the area. The food is always hot and prepared like its supposed to be. The drive thru is incredibly fast and they always get the order right! My kids love coming here and I love the choices that they offer.
PROS: Good food, friendly service.
CONS: The parking lot.

We love to hang out at the bar after shopping and have a great Irish coffee and share a personal pizza. They have some creative personal pizzas. Reasonable prices, great atmosphere, good service. Good place to relax after a hard day.

When Two Step's first opened about 10 years ago, it was one of the best hidden gems of a dining establishment. Located down an ally in a renovated fire house in the center of Downtown Danbury, Two Steps is hard to find, but such mystery seems to have worked against it in time. When it first opened, it was always very busy and the aptmosphere was very lively. However in time, it has become depressingly quiet even on busy nights. It's not as boisterous as it once was. The food here is tex-mex, priced reasonably and pretty good overall. The service is friendly and they can accomodate large parties.

Trellis is only open for breakfast and lunch and, depending on the hour, they are serving only one meal or the other. I really only go there for breakfast so I can't say much about the lunch menu. The homefries are yummy and I often crave the egg and cheese on a hard roll. I can have a decent meal that is made to order for less than $5. I feel much better about that than buying McDonald's or Dunkin Donuts so-called eggs. The service at Trellis can be a bit slow if you sit down. It seems they are used to their regulars who are never in a rush.
I am only giving them 3 of 5 stars because they have made some mistakes. Once I ordered an omelet (comes with homefries and toast) just before 11am - which is when Trellis stops serving breakfast. I got my order to go and when I opened it back at the office, I noticed I was served an unusually small amount of potatoes -- no doubt I got the last in the pan and they weren't willing to fry up a few more for me. On another occasion, I was given an egg sandwich with bacon -- and I didn't order, nor do I eat, bacon. They've been pretty good other than that and I would suggest stopping by for a casual meal.

This is the only Vietnamese restaurant I’ve been to in Danbury, but it’s just as good as the ones I’ve been to in New York. The place is small, but the prices are great, not to mention the food. My friends and I like to come here when we’re in the mood for flavorful dishes.
