I will never ever go back there again. The manager there John Ackers is clearly a racist. He was very rude to me. When I got my car back my sun visor was hanging all the way down in my face. I know my sun visor was old and a little droopy, but it definitely was not that bad. I mean I couldn't even see, because it was blocking my view. I told the service guy that the technician must have accidentally snapped it when he moved it.
The manager John"Green" Acres told me that he thought I was trying to pull something on him. That was his exact comment to me, and everyone heard him say this. He essentially called me a liar. What kind of manager calls his paying customers a liar? I spent $800.00 at that place. They didn't even fix my car right the first time. I had to go back a second time to get it fixed again. I hate this place. I will travel 30 or 40 miles to another dealer before I ever go back there again. I can't believe they are still in business. If you are a person of color, don't go there, and even if you are not a person of color don't go there. Go to Novato Chevrolet in Marin. They are very nice and fair.
One more thing, David McCauley and Dennis Pawlowski were very nice and professional unlike their manager. They gave me a loaner on my second visit so I could get to work, but I will still never go back there again. I just wanted to be fair about this experience.
Pros: David and Dennis are good
Cons: John Ackers is very Rude!

An all around disaster, from sales to service. Once they have your money they don't care about you, your car or the brand name they are representing. Paul Montalbano, the owner is unreachable. The GM, Frank Fragomeni is impossible to talk to, he's rude and dismissive. John Ackers, service manager, is a puppet trained to say "no" regardless of the facts.
I'm all about buying American cars, just don't buy them here. The service department will argue with you about whether something is under warranty regardless of the paper and facts in front of them. And I certainly hope you're not expecting a call back from the service manager when you have a question about your car that's being repaired because they're never available.
The best way to get their attention is when GM sends you a letter asking whether or not you were happy with the transaction and/or service. I suggest you hold on to that letter for a few weeks or month in case you might have to return if your car has an issue. Then, evaluate them honestly and send your opinions to GM.
Pros: None
Cons: Many

Took them 3 days and a threat of taking my car somewhere else to get them to look at why I was even bringing my car there. Then they ripped me off on the price for the parts because they said the 15% coupon only worked if I bought the parts directly from their parts department and that it didn't work because THEY were ordering it from THEIR part department.
Pros: Example: best croissants in town
Cons: rip off and don't know what they're doing

I purchased my very first car at this dealership. It was a good experience for me. My salesperson gave me a tour around the service department and introduced me to the manager. I don't take my car here for service because like all dealerships, it is costly.

Roger, Bill, and the rest of the Chevrolet team never fail to exceed my expectations every time I bring in my HHR whether for scheduled check-up or to check out some questionable noise. They are serious professionals who have set a higher standard for customer satisfaction--and they meet it every time. I appreciate that they listen, quickly grasp the problem, and take the time to explain repair options. A courtesy van ride to/from the dealership is a wonderful service; however, the waiting room is clean, well lighted, and comfortable. I trust the team at Colma and will probably always be a Chevy owner.
