I just bought a car from Toyota of Dallas. I worked mainly through the Internet department. It was an interesting experience. I interacted with a sales internet manager for about 10 emails and got no where. It was a little frustrating. Then a week later, I got an email from her and she had a great deal. She told me to bring in my best written offer and then she would give $500 off. At first I was skeptical but I went in and the dealership honored it without any hassle. Nailing down the price was extremely easy and fair. The dealership honored the email. I was quite surprised and pleased!! I got the car I wanted for a good price. The only downside was that the whole process took about five hours and this was WITHOUT price negotiations. Paying for the car took a while. But everyone was really nice while we waited. However, it seemed like after we paid, it was hard to get good service. We had a question for our salesperson the next day (we had already taken possession of the car) and it took the person two days to get back to us. Would I go back? If I could get a good price - yes! They honored the email but customer service after buying the car is lacking.
