CD Source is a great CD shop for finding almost anything. I always go there when I want to find a deal on a used CD. They have a really good variety of music. You can find CD’s by local artists as well as national acts. I have not personally sold back my CD’s, but friends tell me that they have the best buy back prices. Be prepared to leave your CD’s along with contact information because the buy back process can take a while.

This is not a bad store though. They have an extremely large collection of music, a lot of music which you couldn't find at your typical music store or Best Buy. There's nothing formal to this store, you just go in, and try to find your way around and boxes and just start searching for what you want. The prices aren't bad here, and you can usually work out a deal and possibly get a couple bucks knocked off the price. This is a good store to go to if you're looking for music that isn't exactly mainstream. You'd probably have a good chance finding it here.

I have to admit, I did not shop around much for the piano we were looking for. The moment I stepped in the store, I knew we were going to find our piano here. They had a great selection of pianos, and very helpful and friendly staff, and the place was well kept and organized. So I felt this was the place to buy it from. Their prices seemed very reasonable compared to the few stores I went to. They did also offer other instruments, but I did not know which ones and how much those were. But if you're looking soley for a piano, this might be a good place to start.

This is a nice alternative to Barnes and Noble. The store is not as big, so it makes it easier to find what you want. The staff is very helpful and friendly, ready to help you find whatever you may want. The magazine selection is quite extensive, and they do not mind if you sit and read a magazine or two. The cafe is clean and the drinks are quite tasty. The bathrooms here are clean as well. The only issue I have with Borders is the pricing of their DVD's. Extremely expensive. You can go down the street to a Target or Wal-MArt and pick up the exact same DVD for a much cheaper price.

More
I've found the Movie Trading Company to be a great place to sell videos that I have and no longer want, or buy something new to add to our collection. They have a wide variety of movies in stock, including children's movies. You can buy/sell either DVD or VHS, as well as music CDs. You can sell your VHS, but you won't get much more than $1 for them. On the upside, you can buy VHS for $2-3 each, so you can understand why they won't pay much for them. DVD pricing is a bit hit and miss. Some titles you can buy new for just $1-2 more than what they are selling for here. Others are half the price or less of what they would cost new, so you just have to look around and see what you can find. Oh, and if you want to sell stuff, you can get a better selling price if you take store credit rather than cash -- a good idea unless you don't ever plan on buying anything.
