Impressive hip decor for a Hotel, fun nightlife for Dallas, and a great locaton if you are looking to centrally locate yourself in the Dallas Downtown area. This downtown Dallas hotel has a fantastic restaurant and the pool has pretty women and hunky men in the summer! My girlfriends go there when it warms up to sip by the pool during the great happy hours they have and show of their new summer strappy dresses. I say give it a try, there really is something for everybody at this hip and cool hotel in downtown Dallas.
Pros: Hip hotel and great service
Cons: not a one

We didn’t stay in the hotel, or eat in the restaurant, or enjoy drinks in the bar, but we did take a quick elevator ride up 55 stories to get a view from atop the Reunion Tower in Dallas, Texas.
To go to the observation desk cost $2 for adults. It wasn’t a very popular tourist destination on a Tuesday mid-day – so we had plenty of room (and time) to enjoy the view. The inside of the observation desk area was sort of run down. The tower was built in the late 1970s and it doesn’t appear to have been updated since. But the view from outside was very nice. You could easily see the area where Kennedy was assassinated from this view.
If you want something cheap to do and want to see views of the downtown Dallas area, then I recommend checking out the Reunion Tower at the Hyatt Regency.

The mansion is really nice and they take care of everything. It is definitely pricy but I would say it is worth it as a splurge hotel. Dallas does not have a real central area or geographic feature that hotels need to be near to be nice, the Mansion just tries to take care of everything you might need and make itself nice that way and it really does a good job.
Pros: Really great service
Cons: Expensive

I love the Hilton Anatole. I love admiring the gorgeous Asian Art that lines the entryways and embellishes the walls. It's also fun to walk around the huge sculpture park outside. And the gym! So not your typical hotel gym. This place rivals most chain-gyms. You'll get an amazing workout for your travel weary body at the Verandah Club. I highly recommend staying at the Hilton Anatole.
Pros: good service, food, entertainment

This is not a bad motel to stay at. It is very cheap. The rooms are not as lovely as some of the other Super 8's we have stayed at. They beds are kind of stiff. They do not have much of a pillow, which kind of sucks. All in all it was an ok place to stay but I could of picked better, but couldn't beat the price.

I attended a convention at the adjoining Adam's Mark hotel but headed over to the Westin for a couple of functions. The Westin is also connected to the Adams Mark by a long, glass walkway making traveling between the 2 hotels a breeze. The Westin seems to be much more lavish than the Adams Mark and quite a few of the rooms on multiple floors overlook the galleria and ice skating rink.
The Westin has many conference rooms available and were very hospitable having coffee, tea, honey, water, etc available to guests. The conference rooms were uncomfortably hot even though the weather outside was hot, sticky and muggy. Other than this slight inconvenience, I would stay at the Westin anytime, especially with a room overlooking the ice rink.

Let me start off my saying that I typically stay in much cheaper hotels – so maybe I am easily impressed by one that is pricier. Since this was a business trip, I stayed in the same place my convention was held (in this hotel).
I was impressed with the small things included with the room. We got a paper every morning, we had a robe for us in the room, the bathroom was well stocked with toiletries (mouthwash, shampoo, conditioner, etc), and the room was nice in size.
I liked the fitness center – there were cardio and weight machines in addition to some balance balls and free weights. There was also a sauna in the locker room and a coed whirlpool and outdoor pool available. The fitness center even had a bowl of fruits for you to eat after your workout.
They did have free wireless internet access – which was a bit slow at times. At some places in the conference rooms it was actually unavailable.
I only ate in the restaurant once – and it was a buffet style meal for the conference participants. The food was good – especially the dessert!
The front desk staff was very helpful when ever I dealt with them.
This hotel was about 10 minutes out of Dallas and maybe 15-20 outside of Fort Worth. There was also some shopping within about a 5 minute drive. It was also very easy to get to and from the airport from this hotel.
I do like hotels where breakfast is included – so that was a negative for this hotel since it was not provided.
But overall - I would stay here again if I can afford it.
