This studio is great! I have practiced yoga for 8 years, all over the country and this is one of the best studios I have been to! and it is one of the cheapest!! All of the instructors are super friendly and they have their own styles but still maintain the message and strength of the class. I always feel like I get the class I need for the day. It is great for beginners too, all the classes offer modifications. They also have massage and acupuncture .
Pros: teachers are great! parking! lose weight!

dr stark is the best chiropractor i've ever had. and i am a "chiropractor conneisseur" having been to good ones. i'm a big guy and dr stark is very small. small women tend to do good with me, because their hands are smaller, their fingers are more narrow, so they can get right in there where you are out of alignment. dr stark is very very very precise. she does not give you a big back popping or neck popping, she goes after what needs to be worked on. the whole staff is compassionate, and dr stark very obviously loves what she does, and loves helping people get better. she treats me with compassion and dignity and i absolutely trust her and her abilities. if you just right now fell and messed up your back, they may not be able to work you in right this second -- because she is so popular. her clients obviously love her, there is such a positive vibe going on in there that is conducive to good health. a very funny story -- dr stark is determined! once, my neck would not budge -- i am very hard to adjust. she said "i *want* that to move!" to nobody in particular and i started giggling. she got it to move. i slept like a baby. speaking of babies, she sees babies! i didn't know you could take infants to a chiropractor but one of her patients said it's amazing what chiropractic did for her newborn. dr stark is having her baby any day now, and that kid is going to have the best, most kick-a cool mom in the world. seriously, she is *the best* chiropractor i have been to, and i've been to a lot of really really good ones, and a few lousy ones. she is at the northewest corner of beltline and preston, on beltline right behind the bank. she keeps non traditional hours so you can get in after work. that was the initial selling point for me. plus, she's just so incredibly good at what she does, and her attitude is wonderful. ok, consider this a gushing review, but i have nothing but wonderful things to say about her, and from what i gather, everyone else who sees her loves her too. not just likes but LOVES her. she really is the wonderwoman of chiropractic!

I first visited with Dr. Hackney in March 2000 for a breast augmentation consultation. I had met with several other doctors; however, none of them seemed to have my needs (physical, emotional and mental) as a priority versus just booking a surgery. Dr. Hackney interviewed me in my consultation. He wanted to understand my reasons for the surgery and my true motivation for such a procedure. Based on my meeting with him, I decided Dr. Hackney was the BEST doctor for me. He wanted me to do the right procedure, the right way and for the right reasons. He wasn't interested in simply making money - my happiness with the final outcome and a natural look was his utmost priority. I am extremely pleased with my results! Besides my own personal satisfaction, I have had numerous friends comment on the naturalness of my appearance. In fact, 4 friends have gone to Dr. Hackney for breast augmentations and several other procedures. Dr. Hackney's level of professionalism, refusing to compromise his ethics and truly caring about the end result for each client continues to impress me and others. Because of his integrity, I will only use Dr. Hackney for any cosmetic or reconstructive procedures. My advice - never bargain shop with your body...go to Dr. Hackney for the perfect prcedure tailored to your specific needs!

Do you know what to do when you find a wild creature in the Dallas area? This animal clinic will take almost all types of found creatures (with the exclusion of skunks and other rabies-prone animals). I have dropped off a baby owl and a very tiny baby mockingbird. You just sign the animal over to them and they will take care of it until an animal rehabiliation person comes to pick it up (on a daily basis).

We met Dr. Maale in 1994 when my then 13 year old daughter was diagnosed with a chondrosarcoma/osteosarcoma. He scared me when he said she had cancer but said, Thank God he gave you this type of cancer because when I take it out it will be gone. Well, it was. She went through many tests to make sure there was just one place where the disease was and then 2 surgeries. The first was supposed to be the only one however the pathologist and Dr. Maale could not agree on the degree of the cancer so they closed and sent the biopsy to the Mayo Clinic for the determination of level of cancer. He did not want to do more surgery than was necessary to correct the problem. 2 weeks later the surgery was performed, a limb surgery where she needed bone grafts and physical therapy. She recovered well and has been cancer free for 13 years. Dr. Maale is a great person and great physician with a great staff. He is a hard person and expects a lot from his patients but has a caring heart underneath that face. He brought his son to the hospital on rounds when we were recovering. The down side is the fact he is so very very sought out and busy that the wait time is long in the waiting room and exam room. I very much like Presbyterian Hospital, their staff and all they did for us during this time. I was a single mother raising two children and the hospital recognized my needs stepping in to help us even though we had insurance coverage. A True Blessing-Dr. Maale, Kim, Bonnie and so many others along with Presbyterian Hospital. We thank you greatly again 13 years later.

My boyfriend and I both o to Dr. Ponder. I read the recommendations on City Search and decided to try her out. I liked her so much that my boyfriend decided to see her too. She is extremely thorough. She checks for things like glaucoma that many optometrist don't check for. She is the best optometrist I've ever gone to.

I being a former employee of another optical establishment in Dallas decided to go into Eye Pieces one day just to check it out. I was impressed with the european decor, the displays,and the selection. The staff was very friendly, and professional. The atmosphere was relaxing and enjoyable. I am planning to go back and purchase all my eyewear there. I have already passed this information on to all my friends! It you want to make a statement and be ahead of your time with your eyewear this is the place to go.

Dr. Brothers is extremely knowledgeable, compassionate, kind, patient and has time for her patients. During my first and only pregnancy she calmed my fears, provided solutions for problems, and communicated with me openly. I highly recommend her!
