Joined a group of girls for Happy Hour on Wednesday night for the $15.00 bottle wine night! The wine selections were very good!!! We also had our Happy Hour on the roof top deck which was quite nice! the server was very attentive - even though he had to walk up stairs to get to us! the food is amazing! Great place will be back! Its nice to see new places on Lower Greenvile that are worth the trip downthere!
Pros: French Fries - Views from the Roof Top Deck - Pizza!!!!

Zuzu is a small restaurant that has fresh food that is fast and healthier that other fast food restaurants. They have excellent tomatillo sauce. I like their bean and cheese gorditas and potato flautas. Zuzu is really inexpensive and open daily. They have another location across the street from SMU on Hillcrest. They don't have a drive through, but do offer food to-go.

Zuzu's is by far my fave mexican food fast food ever! Every time I go there, the food is so fresh and good and the quesadillas some of the best I ever had. I recommend Zuzu's to everyone!
Pros: Food, propmtness and atmosphere
Cons: Can get way to crowded at lunch time and sometimes hard to find a seat. The place needs to be bigger and more of them.

Zubar is a very relaxed atmosphere with a nice decor and it is usually pretty crowded, especially on Saturday night. What I don't like about the place is the music. Everytime I've been there, they have played house and trance music which I do not enjoy and thus give it a lower rating. If that is what you like, this place might be for you. But I usually never hear the standard top 40 and hip hop that gets me moving. The drinks are somewhat weak for the 6-7 bucks you pay for them.

I honestly forget which night we went on because it was awhile ago...but whatever the big night is on Lower Greenville, Friday or Saturday?
Anyways, place has 2 rooms both with good music. The back room had more hip/hop, r&b so I was feelin that. Towards the end of the night only the front room played music and they finished the night off with Ready for the World's "Love You Down" and R. Kelly's "Sxx in the Kitchen" which was pretty tight.
Nice people, not so packed either...good place overall. No cover.

This is a great Vietnamese restaurant. The food is great and they give you a lot for your money. They have excellent bread chips and give you unlimited amount of rice. The menu is very big and there are a lot of choices - beef, chicken, pork, seafood, vegetarian. It caters to any taste! The atmosphere inside is very hip and modern. Very clean and inviting place.

This is one of my favorite places to pick up lunch or dinner. This is easily my favorite chicken salad (better than Central Market and Whole Foods). They also have a great limeade. Healthy. Their salad sampler plate is great. Lots of things made with feta cheese...yum!

This posh mod decorated establishment is a Dallas legend. From the famous popover with strawberry butter to the chicken broth to the lunch specials which are impeccably made and usually around $20, I love the Zodiac. It makes me feel like I've been transported into a world of Emilio Pucci and the British Invasion. Great for a long lunch downtown.
Pros: Mod atmosphere, great food, reasonably priced
Cons: Not great when you're in a hurry

I've eaten here off and on over the last ten years. If you work downtown chances are you already know about the tender gyro meat and thick-enough-to-make-a-meal creamy tomato soup. My favorite is the Dolma Platter. They use just the right amount of lemon. All meals are reasonabley priced. The portions are large and the selection is great. I've not had anything here I didn't enjoy. The owners have served authentic Greek food here since I was little girl eating downtown with my mother. The only down side, if there is one, is that they do not accept Visa/Mastercard. Bring cash or AMEX. But you shouldn't need more than $10 either way. Don't forget the baklava.
Pros: Great food and lots of it.
Cons: Only takes cash and AMEX.

Ziziki's is by far, the best Greek food in Dallas. Their service is average, but it is overlooked by their superior food. Make sure to try the Ziziki Bread (cheese bread on a pita with sauce) and the sliced leg of lamb with delicious rosemary roasted potatoes.
