This school system has it figured out! All the schools are filled with great kids, the programs there are great, the education is nationally renowned, and there is no need to think about private schools if you are from the Park Cities. The high school especially really is great. Football helps everyone come together and the school spirit really unites the community. The people you will meet at HP will stay your friends for a long time. Something about this community makes people want to move back their when they get a family and send their kids right back to the same school.

Study Hall is an SAT preparatory service. Henry, the man who runs it, is a very nice person who works with you one on one, problem by problem, to get better at taking the SAT test. I went there almost every day for two months and my score dramatically improved. My friend also went to Study Hall and ended up getting a perfect score. Even if your child is smart, this man knows how the test works and how to beat it. He is really very very friendly. You pay $500 and then you can take a test whenever you want at no additional charge. Plus, you can have free cokes at every visit! The best in SAT prep.

I went to Providence for six years and I have only great things to say about it. The education is classical and very rigorous--it will be a very good preparation for later schooling. The teachers are all very nice and the headmaster is absolutely great. The children that go there are very friendly and the whole environment is just about perfect. I couldn't ask for anything better in a school. I didn't like it at first, but then I got used to it and made many friends who are still my best friends now, even though I am in college across the country. They are now expending their high school, but the middle school and elementary school has always been as great as can be. What a great school! Be sure to check it out. In addition to learning normal schoolwork, your child will also benefit from learning solid principles based on the Bible (which is read every morning for a short time before class). I wish I could go back there even now!

The Dallas County Community College District is a group of seven colleges within the Dallas area. I highly recommend choosing one of these colleges to further your education at a lower cost. They offer many associate degrees, or you may transfer to a four year university. Also there are classes that are not for credit but for your interests.

Test Prep at its best is the best way to describe my experience at The Princeton Review. Their material is very extensive and the teachers are usually quite knowledgeable. I have, though, caught them making some mistakes in their lectures, but usually someone will catch it. They have a solid money back guarantee that lets you break one of the three rules. They really are the best. I like them more than Kaplan or Exam Krackers.

This is the first time in 15 years I am moving (I detest the word exercise) in an "exercise" setting. I heard great things from friends, have checked it out, and now I am hooked! I love the dance classes! Knowledgeable instructors help out either by walking around and suggesting how to better do the movement, or by showing different levels of movement from the front. I have found all sizes and shapes in the classes - yes, most are more slender and thinner than me, but i never feel unwelcome. I am free to concentrate on myself and my movement so i can really enjoy it.
The atmosphere is peaceful and tranquil. There wonderful pictures and sayings all around are supportive and life affirming. They have a boutique that sells gifts along the sames lines. I relish that there are lockers available to store away my personal things - with a key that i can pin to my clothing if necessary. Everything is clean, too! The more i am there, the more i love it - i look forward to making it a dance sanctuary for me.
they also offer workshops on various topics - i have become a big fan of the chakra workshops, and recently participated in one on "a new earth". that they focus on alternative and holistic ideas helps me to relax even more in this environment.
Pros: everything!
