My boyfriend and I both o to Dr. Ponder. I read the recommendations on City Search and decided to try her out. I liked her so much that my boyfriend decided to see her too. She is extremely thorough. She checks for things like glaucoma that many optometrist don't check for. She is the best optometrist I've ever gone to.

I was refered to Dr Ponder by an Optometrist from another city. I received the most thorough exam of any I have had. She took the tiime to explain the possible problemy my diebetes could cause. She and her staff were very friendly and helpful in selecting the frames that fit my face.

Great selection of frames & Dr. Ponder makes sure to help you select a nice one for your face and your needs. She's patient & fun with my 8 year old as well... showing her an eye model and explaining what she's doing whenever my daughter has questions.
Quick service... never had to wait, and our glasses came in quickly.
Pros: Easy location, shopping & eating available next door (great when you are dialated and want to waste some time before driving)
Cons: Not a "one hour" service... but the professional service more than makes up for it.
