The beds are great. The hotel has old but kept up nicely and has a beautiful decor. Located in the Oaklawn area you are within walking distance to bars, dining, shops etc. Very reasonably priced.

This hotel is amazing. It is clean and pretty reasonable for downtown Dallas. The rooms are huge and the beds are so comfortable. I loved that the beds had a down comforter on it. It was like home away from home. The staff is friendly and helpful. I will definitely stay here again.

The Melrose is an extroardinary hotel, first class in everything I recommend it. It is near allot of eateries since it is on Oaklawn and Cedar Springs.

This is a nice, historic hotel situated in Dallas. I loved the lounge in this hotel: It was very comfortable. The room was pretty spacious. The service here is excellent. The decor here is amazing and the furniture is great as well. The hotel has great amenities. I had problems checking-in though for some reason.

My husband brought me to the Melrose Hotel in Dallas for my birthday weekend. What a nice time we had. The atmosphere is great, the staff knowledgeable and warm and the amenities are great. I had the best time and felt like a princess all weekend long. Pros: great service, fitness room, amenities Cons: no pool

Tired of "cookie cutter" hotels? Not the hip and trendy type? Stay at the Melrose and you will experiance the best service in town. My wife and I stayed there on our 10th anniversary and the Melrose staff made this event truely special. They even sent a personalised amenity to our room after the restaurant server noted the occasion. The doorman and front desk staff always greeted us by name, a rare treat in todays hotel enviroment. We enjoyed the daily lemonade in the lobby at checkin (watermelon), and all the personal touches. We had drinks at the Mansion on Turtle Creek (two blocks away) but enjoyed the Library Bars nightly live entertainment.We will be back.... Pros: Great Service, Food, Bed Cons: No Pool
