I've used Dallas Tailors multiple times. I've had three bridesmaid dresses and many personal items altered. The owner has always been very professional and helpful. Prices might be on the steeper side but I'm willing to pay more for work I know I can trust. I've always been very satisfied and have received my items in a timely manner.

I took my bridesmaid dress to this shop to get it cut for a wedding that I was scheduled to be in within 14 days. When I got there I was greeting by a little hispanic lady that "SEEMED" to be quiet nice and friendly. She measured my dress and told me how beautiful the dress was and told me the price she would charge. She told me to come back in 5days to pick the dress up, well to my suprise when I got there she came to the front and told me that my dress wasn't there and that I had got 2 "BIG BLACK GUYS" to come and steal the dress from her. I was shocked!!!! She also told me that she had called the police and that they had pictures of these "BLACK GUYS" and the police told her that she had been set up. Well, I asked her for a police report # so that I could find out what was going on. She then told me that she didn't call the Dallas Police, that she had reported it to the parking lot security. I located the security officer for the shopping center and asked for a report or what had happened in regards to what the owner had told me. He stated that no one from that store had reported any robberies or any criminal activity from that store and the name of the security officer that she said came to take the report wasn't even a person that was listed on the employee list. I then called the Dallas Police because it wasn't making any sense what she was telling me had happened. Well, once the police arrived and spoke with the owner and the security officer she then changed her story once or twice and the police even told her that she was lieing about the incident that she claimed had occured and the she was not telling the truth about the "TWO BLACK GUYS" that she originally said had stolen the dress. She later changed the story to "1 BLACK GUY" in a red truck. Out of all the items of clothing in her shop they randomly picked out that one dress as if I could tell them exactly where the dress was located . Well it has been 3 weeks now & I'm waiting for reimbursement.

One of the worst experiences I've ever had, both in terms of quality of service and customer care. I took two dresses to be altered at Dallas Tailors. Both of them came out terrible- one of them had been cut much much too short, with the front edge slanted and significantly shorter than the back. The other one is even worse, the zipper sticks up in the back, and it looks like I have a tail !! The seem along the entire back of the dress is not straight. I cannot even wear the dress, it looks so ridiculous. What's worse, is that when I went back to Dallas Tailors to ask for their advice on how to fix it. I was greeted with the owner yelling at me: "What are you doing bringing these dresses back here?"- no hello, no smile. And this agressive behavior continued, she screamed at me that there was nothing she could do, that it was my body shape that caused the seam to be skewed...until finally I left in tears, to the owner and the seamstress laughing at me. I paid close to $200 for this mediocre service, and to be insulted by a woman who does not care for a job well done, or for happy customers. As a side note, I took the dress to the tailors 'round the corner from my home, and he was able to fix the seam and the zipper- costing me another $35 dollars, but at least I can wear the dress on other occasions than Halloween. Pros: Speedy Cons: Terrible tailoring skills, rude personnel, completely ruined my dresses

Great customer service To be honest i went to this drycleaners simply based on their location because i was very busy and need the convienence of something that was close to my house and that was what I got. But I was simply astounded at their customer service. I had never witness such friendly customer service in a drycleaners and they were very friendly. They were very resonably priced and will definitely go there again in the future. I consider this a great metroplex find and will definitely shop there

Whether your clothing needs major alterations, or you just have a pair of pants that needs hemming, come to Dallas Tailor. They do the work in-house, and everything is very professionally done. The prices are reasonable and you will not be disappointed. If you need dry cleaning work done, they are available for that as well. Although their storefront is not exceptional, they have been in the same location for a number of years; they're well-established and ready to help.

This is an interesting little shop. The proprietess is European and she does a very good job of alterations. I've had hems adjusted and other needs met here. They are dependable and careful with your clothes. Pretty good value for the money, too.
