What a great place! I have been going to Bubba's ever since I was a little kid. The food is outstanding, the people are nice, the location is great, the prices are reasonable, and the atmosphere is friendly. I went all the time for breakfast on Saturday mornings as a kind of tradition, but Bubba's is known for their fried chicken. It is so tasty and juicy--you'll be back before long if you try it. There is even an old jukebox that until recently played all your favorite songs. A great place to take anyone.

This store on Regal Row is great for finding bargains and you could not ask for a more helpful staff. The prices are reduced because this is surplus inventory and therefore, the selections are always changing so you may need to go a few times to find what you are looking for, or you may get lucky. The warehouse is very hot, but I suppose they save some money on A/C bills and the shoppers get the benefit of the reduced prices. I went to this store looking for flush lines, lavatory (bathroom) faucets and tile for a backsplash and found it all. I had 3 different employees stop to ask me if they could be of assistance - rare these days and much appreciated!

I have been to Brut many times. And, what keeps me coming back is the amazing selection of wines and the easy-going air of the place. Alfonso, the owner, is a very kind, warm, and exceptionally knowledgeable guy (with a suave Spanish accent). He owns, operates, and serves at this quaint, cozy, and cool little boutique and does so with the humility of a waiter and the confidence of a sommelier -- what a balance. The shop is a bit on the small side, but the location at Hwy 75 and Mockingbird is excellent, given that it is central to the more traveled Dallas hang-outs and sits in between the extra hip Palomar Hotel and the still up-to-par Trader Vic's. Though Brut has a vast selection of champagne, it has an equally fine selection of sparkling wines from all over the world. Prices for both champagne and sparkling wines range from the $30s into the hundreds. Tell Alfonso what you like and how much you would like to spend and he will tell you straight. I have not been disappointed in any of my choices or in those recommended by the owner, who has a true gift for divining the wine a customer wants from but a few disjointed descriptors. Brut does have a romantic aspect to it, but it is also a place to meet with friends and to try wines that you will not get the opportunity to try anywhere else in Dallas. Food is not served there, except for some high-end chocolates that make for a nice coupling with the champagne. The lack of anything to eat as you drink (e.g., nuts, crackers, cheese, etc.) is its only real draw-back. For what it's worth, Alfonso is also the owner and chef of Hola!, a wonderful Spanish tapas restaurant located at McKinney and Monticello. I mention this less to tout Hola! than to tout Alfonso himself, who, I have come to realize, is a true expert in both food and wine. Brut is great. If you don't have like it, it can only be because you happen to own your very own champagne shop in France itself. I am the FunkBlaster, and I do not lie.

The vets there are all very caring and compassionate. I've taken my cats there for years and they have all been forthright and consistent with their care and diagnosis. Dr. Charles is incredible..... always tells you what you need to hear, not what you want to hear and consistent with the facts and treatment options. Dr. Johnson and Brittain..... wonderful too ! Compassionate, caring and they always return your calls in a timely manner. Even though the facilities are modest, they do harbor the latest in technology...they make up for it in care, compassion and knowledge.

There are two negative reviews on Judy's book for our company, which were not our clients. I assume the comments were intended for A 2 Z Movers, which are out of business now. I have contacted Judy's book for months to have the comments removed but they will not answer or return my calls. Our BBB report is impeccable. Our reputation in DFW, for 20 yrs, is outstanding and this is very disappointing that Judy's book does not insure the accuracy of these claims. Please check our BBB report and then give us a call for a safe and professional move.

If you have semi-expensive taste (less than $200 ) in contemporary home furnishing then I’d suggest you try Lights Fantastic. They have every lamp style for under 200 bucks. What I liked most were the 6 way lamps that provide more lighting. If you search on-line or in mail you can find coupons up to fifty bucks off.
