I LOVE THIS PLACE! This is one of the better bookstores in the dallas fort worth metroplex. They have great qulaity books at amazingly reasonable prices. They havetons of selections also. Some times though they seem that they are a little disoprganized and i dont like that. But when i need a book like really need a book i simply go up and ask the person at the desk and they will look it up for you.

Crossroads Market is a combination bookstore cafe in the heart of the Cedar Springs neighborhood. CM caters to the gay and lesbian community; however, it is open and inviting to all of Dallas. The bookstore contains mostly books and novelty items with a gay interest, but there are also difficult to find magaizines and books of a more general interest.
Crossroad's main attraction is its cafe. They feature a wide variety of coffees, teas, pastries, and desserts. They do not, however, serve meals. The cafe is decorated with warm and lively colors, and the walls feature a rotating exhibit of the artwork of locals.
Free wifi is also available, which makes CM a great place to work away from the office. On any given day there are a number of individuals and groups meeting in the cafe, formally and informally. If you are interested in meeting people in a non-threatening, smoke-free place, Crossroads Market might be the place for you.

This nice little Christian Bookstore has a great selection of Christian books and other media. With the way things are in the world today, it's great to know there are places that sell things that won't damage your family and that may actually just strengthen it. The staff is friendly and helpful. Don't hesitate to go.

If you are looking for that book you read in high school or an old book you can't find anymore- this is the place to go. They have shelves and shelves of paperback books and some hardbacks. It is kind of dark in the store and there are a lot of books (some smell musty) but overall, it is a great place to browse for books. You can even trade in your old ones and get credit to buy some new(er) books! They have a lot of books that you can't find anymore or are out of print!

This store keeps a wonderful stock of religous items for all Christians. Any type of bible you could ever want, including bibles with up to four translations side by side can be found especially here. Also, they have many study aides and any kind of Christian book one could need or want.

There's nothing fantastic about this place. I found the books on clearance a bit fasinating though as some were even a dollar apiece. While there weren't too big of a selection to browse from, I was eagerly helped by a couple of workers that were so generous of their time. I found the place to be unique in that there is a bin of books for children that you can donate to the less fortunate. Otherwise I would not say there is anything too special about this location.

Every single time I go in this place I've found the staff to be incredibly helpful. I always go in around this time of year to check text book prices and see what kind of books I'll need for my classes, and the staff is always friendly and helpful. They often have better prices and more used books than the official SMU bookstore over on Mockingbird, though I usually find a better deal online. Anyway, anyone who puts good service at the top of their list will appreciate Varsity Books

Borders has a great selection of books, CD's, and DVD's.
Their CD section is set up so you can listen to CD's before you buy them. The prices aren't as good as Best Buy, but they have a good selection. Be sure and give them your email address because they send coupons via email that are worth a % off your next purchase.
