I have been going to Jamie for over a year now and I come in from Baton Rouge just to get my hair done at Gleason's. Jamie is excellent with color and highlights and the atmosphere is so warm and comfortable, I always leave with a big smile! Patrick and Christine are excellent as well and lots of fun! It's a small shop where you get personalized service. I don't mind the trip from Baton Rouge and when I'm in Austin, I drive 3 hours just to make my appointment with Jamie! Pros: Jamie is super talented with colors, highlights and cuts. Cons: I live out of town

horrible color and highlights, they completely ignored what i asked for...my highlights look like allover color job only very bad because they seem to think that you should not do it all the way to the roots especially at the hairline!!! i said natural the highlights are almost white looking .... one word horrible! do not go there i am furious! ps: Jamie did it, i dont know who would think she is good!

I acutally read this review while casually searching the web. I had actually been looking for everything Jamie had to offer, so I booked two days in advance...which was much better than two weeks in advance. Living in Plano there are plenty of salons but not many affordable ones, so I took the drive to Dallas today...which I LOVE...to Gleason's. It was a little hard to find but I called and she actually stayed on the phone with me to direct me in and met me in one of the hallways, Great customer service from the get-go. She's great, sociable, talented, and very efficient with her time. I received a cut, deep conditioning treatment and styling in an hour and was very very please with the results!! I will definitely go back and I would suggest for you to call and book an appointment. Very affordable and I will return...and pass out the extra business cards I got from her. If you're looking as I was...your wait is over. You'll be beautiful!! Pros: affordable, talented, JAMIE Cons: none!

My family goes to Gleason's for haircuts & highlights. Jamie does a great job, I have 2 teenagers that wouldn't go anywhere else for haircuts. It's hard to find someone that does it all teenage haircuts, mens, women's and great highlights. But Gleason's has it all, you can also get a shoeshine and chair massage while you wait. Remember and ask for Jamie, she's the best. Pros: Haircuts, Highlights, shoeshine & chair massage

I always feel like I'm in the movie set for Steel Magnolias when I'm there because there are so many loyal customers at Gleason's that come in not only to get a haircut, but to chat and catch up. What a surprise to walk into Gleason?s and find an afternoon massage spot open. It?s a chair massage, so I didn?t have to worry bout the full hair and makeup re do ( if you know what I mean) . I found them when I was in the Crescent office side going to the Bank of America? I thought , hey I have 10 min and I really have a kink in my neck?. I ended up staying until the massage therapists shift was over ( 45 min total for $45.00 what a deal) and then went back to work. What a find! The hair stylist seemed really friendly as well and they have a shoe shine and a barber WITH his own barber chair and section. You really need to check this out! Their pricing on all services were very reasonable and the place hip but not too cool for us 40ish gals :) Pros: 3 hair dressers, one shoe shine guy and a massage gal! Cons: Tucked in a corner, didn't know it was there.....

I have been having my hair highlighted forever. Of all the hairstylests in all of DFW Christine is the best! I have never been this happy with my blonde highlights in 25 years!! I am very picky customer. Christine is the only one who will ever do my cut and highlights! If you want to look fantastic and love your hair see Christine at Gleasons, plus she is the nicest sweetest person ever! Pros: All good!!
