I went to the Dallas Arboretum over the weekend with a group of ladies, and have to say, this place is gorgeous! It was the perfect day to walk through all these gardens and water areas - very soothing! There were lots of folks talking photos of their kids or wedding photos. The breeze was blowing - it was SO nice! There are lots of beautiful flowers in bloom and lush grasses swaying in the breeze - and LOTS of trees! I would encourage you to visit the Dallas Arboretum, take a picnic lunch and take your shoes off and run your toes through the grass.

BEAUTIFUL. I especially love the spring there with all the tulips and azaleas. Nice and green anytime. A good place to take the kids to roam around. Very big and lots of walking. They do have a little tram though. Great place for picture taking with the flowers everywhere and the lake. Great place for bridal or engagement pics.

They are very well organized and maintained. they are very good during fall season. Thier ticket is little bit more but worth it. You can find any kind of flowers. They have a lots pf gardens here. They are very large. They have very good location.

The Dallas Arboretum and Botanical Gardens is one of the best gardens I have ever been too. They have so many different varieties of plants and flowers (all marked). I didn't know most of them could grow in Texas. There are always flowers blooming no matter what time of year. There are always brides in the park getting their pictures made and it does make for a lovely backdrop for pictures. It is just a really nice place to take a walk and enjoy nature when you are in the city! A must do for those who haven't!

What a lovely place to spend an afternoon! The parking is close to the gate (if you can get into that lot and not have to park down the street and shuttle) and the prices are fair. Spring is the most beautiful time to visit, they have massive tulips to admire that are just gorgeous. We had our engagement pictures taken here as well and they turned out wonderfully - the reflecting pool is a great place to take pictures or just to sit and relax. Lots of little trails to walk through, flowers to see, and places to sit and relax. Great for a date, family outing, or someplace to get inspiration for your own gardening projects.

This is such a wonderful oasis in the big city. The best time to visit would be in the spring and a must see is the Dallas Blooms festival in April. They have wonderful plant sculptures too. The gardens are wonderful for your spring pictures too! There is a lot to see at the Arboretum and plenty of places to have a picnic with the family. The children love the old buildings they can play in and the hands on garden is always a hit. The garden can be a bit pricey for some, but well worth the visit at least once.
