This place is brimming with many, many antiques that you will just fall in love with. It has such a good location and the people there can help you find what you are looking for at their store. You can find furnishings for your home or just things to collect all of the store. The prices are a little high, however, although you may find that the perfect antique is invaluable.

I have an old mantle clock that belonged to my father. I remember it hanging over the fireplace as a child and it holds many good memories for me. It hasn't worked for years and I called this clock repair shop to inquire about having a key made for it. They pointed me in the right direction for what I needed as well as making me aware of having certain types of work done would decrease the value of the clock. Very nice, friendly and knowledgeable.

Wisteria has products that are imaginative, unique and covet- worthy. The catalog comes out seasonally from what I can tell. It's even more fun to look through than Pottery Barn, and I don't mean that in a blasphemous way.
But the wife/husband team that run it travel all over the world picking up things like old Chinese buckets, big German silver screens, and Indian parats (trays). They have beautiful glassware, benches, mirrors, and jewelry, as well as lanterns and carved shells. Take a look at the website: http://www.wisteria.com/ How can you not be a little covetous?
Their customer service gets high marks with me, too. They answered my questions, and gave me a ship date 3 weeks out b/c the object I wanted was currently on back-order. When I mentioned that my purchase was a gift for someone, the lady I spoke to told me she'd see what she could do. I received the package in 1 1/2 weeks.

When you walk into this store you somehow have a feeling Aunt Bea might come around the corner. They have the old metal signs on the wall, beautiful antiques, yet new wonderful gift items of all kinds. Everything from lace to crystal, and accessories for almost anything you need to decorate your home for that "comfort" feel we all enjoy! You'll find this little gem in the Preston Royal Shopping Center close to Blockbuster.

This nice little store specializes in anything French and antique. Most of the stuff here is country French or French provincial in style so if that's what you like, this is the place. My parents really love this style so Whimsey works for them. I like some of it but it can be pricey and doesn't always work in a college student's apartment.

We found this place to have the best prices in the area, but they also had a different selection than some of the other stores in the direct vecinity. Brant Laird has lots of little, intersting bobbles and knick-knacks that you won't find in the more refined stores. But this makes it fun. It's almost like walking into the past when you go in. Little memories of lives gone bye on display for anyone to pick up. They of course have furniture in many different styles but the most interesting things are the tiny pieces of history for sale.

This is a really fun shop! They have novelty items, retro items (obviously), vintage clothing, and I think even some vintage furniture. It is a fun place to browse with a friend! SOME of the items are a bit off-the-cuff; it's not really a kid-friendly store. And there are other fun shops around it, so you can make an afternoon of it the Lakewood area.
