I recently dropped by Natural Retreat for a haircut and was given a fantastic cut by Amy. She was thoughtful and listened to my concerns about my hair. She was terrific and I will definitely be going back! That reviewer below who did not like Natural Retreat or the service must have been having a bad day!

This is a GREAT little place to come with friends, with a date, or all alone...lots to offer. The patrons are of varied ages and are a great crowd of really down to earth, nice people. The staff is extremely attentive and customer service is obviously a priority. Highly recommend checking it out!

POs Burgers & Beer have a large selection of hamburgers to choose from. They have buffalo burgers as well as Ostrich meat too! Their hamburgers are some of the best in Cypress. Loose meat and decent sized, the ooze factor is definitely perfect in these burgers. The onion rings are OK but not the best I've had. The atmosphere is like an old converted house with old wood floors. They also have BBQ, but I've only had the burgers. The selection of toppings is decent, and the prices aren't bad either. Never a wait, and good kid atmosphere for those with kids.

We lucked into finding Barker Cypress Animal Clinic and Dr. LeJeune when we relocated to NW Houston from SoCal this past February. We have 7 small "kids" (all canine rescue adoptions) and each has its share of issues. These dogs are very, very dear to us---Dr. and staff handle all of us with amazing compassion, gentleness, patience, professionalism, and expertise. We're so glad to have found such a great vet close to home!

This place make the best burger in town. Its hidden in cypress but its the best kept secret they have to offer. The PO burger is excellent with sauteed mushrooms and the cajun fries are awesome. Its a hole in the wall with great food and ample parking. The texas toothpicks (fried jalepeno strips) are excellent and offer just enough of a kick. Great place to take the kids. Be prepared to bus your own table when you are done eating, they have minimal staff.

Carl's back porch is a great BBQ restaurant for the whole family. They have two small fishing lakes that you can pay $2 and fish all day on without even having a fishing license. The lakes have plenty of catfish and bass. They also have a petting zoo for the kids and a playground as well. On the weekends, they usually have an all-you-can-eat buffet including ribs, brisket, chicken, pork, and all the sides. It's $6.95 for the buffet. They also have giant baked potatoes filled with chopped beef, great chicken fried steaks, and overall good food.

Are pool,spa and landscaping was just completed by Elizabeth at cross custom pools. not only was are design amazing and exactly what we had envisioned,but the quality of work, excellent customer service and overall experience was top notch !!! without a doubt we would use her again and would not hesitate to refer this company.

I recently had an emergency situation, when my dog, Skippy, got a snake bite on his nose. Within an hour he became very lethargic (a Jack Russel), & his muzzle doubled in size. I called Longwood, they said bring him in immediately and "the Vet is at lunch, but they'll call to tell her to hurry back". So I took Skippy in and the vet called me later, went over everything thourougly and also let me know if... his swelling got worse, we would have to put him a facility that had all-night doctors, but luckilly it started to go down, so they were able to keep him for the night with an IV in his leg. Early the next morning, I went for a visit, his face was still swollen, but he was perky and happy to see me. The whole staff was so nice and very sympathectic. I brought his "blankie" from home & left it, but he was in a very nice cage that even had a little piece of fur cloth in it. When the Dr. came in at 8:00 am, she called me & went over the current status. I went back at 4:30pm and the criteria to take him home was to make sure he could eat & drink. Well usually Skippy is so freaked out at Vets, that he never eats, but when the Dr. saw he hadn't eaten all day , she consoled & patted him & within a minute he gobbled his food down. So the IV came out and I took him home, with antibiotics and pain pills. He had soiled his blankie and they even washed it. And the price, while priceless (like the commercial) was very reasonable.
Overall everyone was so professional, but nice and kind to me & Skip. It's very obvious they all have a genuine love for animals and I'm just so glad that they were my regular vet clinic when we had this crisis.

I have lived in the Cy-Fair area since 1972. JB's has been around since the late 70's or early 80's. They used to serve barbeque and chicken fried steaks. It was nothing special. My wife and I decided to try it out again a couple of months ago. We went at lunch, and just ate some barbeque. It is really good, and the sauce has a great flavor. You get a lot of food too. Since that time, we have went back and eaten the steak and seafood. The steak was delicious and really tender. The baked potatoe was large. The prices are really reasonable too. They have a jazz band on friday nights, and there are big screen televisions all around the room. The service could be a little better, but the food far outways any service issues.
